Quiet, good location, easy access and check out.

Beautiful property!

We booked one of the best suites (508 I guess). I am a Gold Member of hotels.com I have been there guest more than 3 times in the last 6 years, always booking the best suites. Actually very nice memories with my daughter there. This last time I unfortunately left my solar power-bank when we left. I immediately called the hotel. After a few hours they told me that they had found it, and that it would be stored in the lost found box. It would be stored for 3 months. I have been there since three times asking for my power-bank and they say, they have seen it (even told me it was a black solar power-bank) but they no longer have it. What kind of answer is that? So ADVICE. Don´t forget your valuables there, cleaning might find them, but in the reception they will get lost! Very sad!

The gentleman working at the reception on the night of 12/21 and when we went back on 12/28 was kind and helpful. He helped us with parking considering we had a big van which was not easy to find parking for. The hotel in clean and accommodating.

Great facilities, huge room and excellent breakfast

Overall not satisfied with this hotel as a choice for our overnight in Basel. We had driven from the alps and were catching an early morning flight and chose this for proximity to BSL airport. Unfortunately getting all our luggage into the airport was a hige hassle. You have to drive to the 5th level of the mall parking lot, take one elevator down to Ground, traverse the mall parking and then a second elevator up to reception. Then another elevator to the room level. Very inconvenient with all our ski gear/ Thr issues didn’t stop there. The room was extremely hot and there was no way of lowering the heat- made for a very uncomfortable sleep. I asked for an early wake up call which I didn’t get- good thing I had my phone alarm backup. In the morning we took a taxi because the shuttle wasn’t running yet. The front desk told me it would take 25-30mins to the airport- it took 12mins and cost me €35.40. Total rip off: Lastly, the food in the restaurant was awful- clearly heated by microwave and cost a fortune. Don’t waste your money and efforts at this hotel.

Great location to explore Basel. Right on the three countries border so educational for our children too. Germany, Switzerland and France and you could walk between all three care free within minutes Great location if you’re looking for an affordable stay in Basel. I would highly recommend a day trip to Lucerne too - wow!!

Great location and staffs were super friendly, all with his English, breakfast was ok.

I arrived early in the morning and leave my hand carry luggage since check in time is 2pm. The two receptionist was great and told me to come back at 1pm. Manage to check in before 2pm, that help me to relax and get ready to room around the city. Everything was great and a best place to stay for Christmas. The hotel is located to the border of Switzerland, Germany and France. Mall is next to the hotel and no need to worry about buying food.

We stayed last week for 3 nights in 2 rooms with our group. Beautifully clean hotel, comfortable beds, helpful staff particularly on reception. Easy acccess to France over the bridge and to Basel by tram outside the hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay

The hotel was ideal for our parkrun trip. The tram and bus stops were just next to the hotel which made our journey from the airport and into Basel very easy. The Reception Staff were very helpful with directions on how to get to the Fondation Beyeler. I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was a proper suite and we were able to eat there instead of dining out.

We arrived a bit early and the staff let us check in anyway. They were very gracious. Also, the food was excellent and the room was immaculate & comfortable.

I liked that it was affordable and the room was huge! Location is a bit of a tram ride from Basel but the 3 country bridge is right next to the hotel and that was nice. We caught the tram to Basel and got an uber back, stayed one day. Loved how big the room was for our 5 people family. that was my favorite part. That and the cleanliness.
