Muy cómodo muy familiar y tranquilo

Room should have a chair and a table, my AC made noise , made it hard to sleep, room 311. I asked for 1 pm checkout, desk told me that there is 15.00 fee / hour, I completely understand when you are at or above 80 % occupancy but not in summer and below 50 % occupancy. We used pool and hot tub. Well maintained and clean, all pool area. Most of the hotel looks nice and clean, although landscape could use some touch up. I also understand how some ppl are not very respectful. Walking to the restaurant with my pool towel and security stopped me that I could not take it to beach, I understand and told him that I was heading to the restaurant and have no interest in taking the pool towel to beach. His approach and body language left lot to be desired, he did the same to someone else , I noticed. At least he is consistent. Restaurant , good food and good service, clean and very accommodating. I forgot that we cannot charge to room so I went to room and got my card. Then I learned that I could not leave him tip on the card. so I went up again and brought cash to the server. He was very gracious and appreciative, this is not my first time here. We always find this hotel to be in a very comfy spot. I think our first stay was close to 25 years ago. We have tried other hotels but they do not offer a good value as this one. Suggestion, a little bit of TLC will go a long way. Each employee we ran into was friendly and acknowledged us. We will be back.

Quick access to the beach

The staff was extremely courteous and attentive to my needs. From the Manager on Duty, Front Desk staff, to the facilities engineer and the security staff....all top notch! Especially the office manager for the spa! Such a treat! Definitely rebooking Playa Bonita again soon!

First time visiting Puerto Penasco and playa Bonita made us feel so welcomed. 10/10

Family friendly hotel. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location close to everything. Had everything we needed. My only complaint is the beds are too hard.

Total disappointment!!! Hotel was extremely outdated! Everything looked musty. When we arrived the first room they assigned to us smelled like pee!! And had flies everywhere!! Puerto peñasco in general is so overrated and overpriced !! We cut our trip a day short!! Do no recommend!!

The pools are not clear!

Great stay. Only thing is we had difficulty with the curtains in the room. Big head ache.

The hotel is beautiful and is right on the beach. Parking is safe and plentiful and free. The pool and live music ends promptly at 10 pm for a quiet night’s sleep. It reopens at 8 am. There is direct beach access with stairs. The ATM did not work and tips are entirely in cash. You must pay $20/each cash for the breakfast buffet although for regular meals you can charge them to a credit card. That made me run out of cash a lot faster than anticipated. Bring lots of $5’s and $10’s. The staff is super nice but be ready with your Spanish as there are many that are limited on their English. My cell phone data would NOT work without their (free) WIFI despite getting a “global pass.” So be prepared for that. I screenshot a lot and that saved me because I had the hotel phone number (luckily calls could be made). FYI if you “get directions” on WIFI it will continue to work even off their network. If you’re driving…there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT DESERT between the border and town. The town seems to come out of nowhere. There were plenty of other Americans Making the trip. We felt safe the ENTIRE time.
