Hotel is close to airport, 10mins in taxi. The roof top area is amazing, plenty of space to relax in the sun before getting flight home. The pool was cold, but refreshing. The restaurant was brilliant, reasonable price and food tasty and good selection. They had a selection of wines and spirits too. The rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy the Spanish sunshine. All staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming.

My stay at Hotel Nostrum Málaga Airport was genuinely distressing and felt unsafe. The hotel is on an industrial estate adjoining a casino. As a British traveller, I was unaware of the nature of the area, but it quickly became clear that it attracts disruptive guests and does not feel appropriate for families or women travelling alone. I arrived around 3pm after being awake all night in hospital and clearly explained that I urgently needed a quiet room. Despite this, I was placed in a noisy twin room directly above the reception atrium. The room smelled musty and unclean. There was no food or drink available during the day aside from overpriced vending machines, no minibar, and no toiletries beyond a basic wall-mounted soap. After being refused a cancellation twice, I requested a room change. The second room was marginally better but had no curtains or blinds, meaning full daylight, when I needed sleep. Later that day, I was woken in shock by two men violently banging on my door. I genuinely believed someone was trying to break in and immediately called reception. I was told a heavily intoxicated guest was being restrained and repeatedly falling against my door with a staff member. Afterward, the corridor was littered with broken glass, food, and what appeared to be blood! No one checked on me or followed up. The next morning, a receptionist casually said the incident had been discussed on the staff WhatsApp group. This lack of professionalism and safeguarding was shocking.

The lady at reception was not very approachable, looks that she doesn't like what is she doing. I didnt know i have to present the passport at the reception as i have done the reservation already amd is not like someone else could get in the possession of my reservation. And also i have someone that it was with me during the reservation but is from that region of the country but we was simply lucky that the person had the passport with it. Because they havent specified anything about passports and even more for someone who will acompany you, lets say its fine for the person who made the reservation. It was kind of embarrassing, imagine it didn't had the passport. What then? Stay separate? Or travel to get the passport? This is absurd. Anyway, on top of everything when i said that i simply didnt know about this and those details have supposed to be shared to me in advace, her aproach with her reply was kind of rude and unprofessional, asking me if i made a reservation before at some hotel, and i have been surprised when she said that. I have in many different places in multiple countries, you cant say that just because i am not aware for your rules, i could get easily prepared for this if they will inform me after i made the reservation online. The room is not proper isolated, you can hear people talking in the corridor or even next room, so quiet noisy for being called a hotel. Also location is quiet bad, being isolated, nothing close to that place, no atractions, no shops.

Excellent communications and advice from the reception team. The room was very clean and comfortable. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, so out of hours options are room service or a machine in reception.

wish i had asked for feather pillows the pillows we had where a bit uncomfortable Hotel fine no problems but a 15 minute drive from the airport and in an industrial estate so ok for a late or early stay Mike

I liked everything at this hotel.Very clean,the staff was very helpful and friendly, very good food ,I had a great time at the rooftop pool. Highly recommend !

This hotel would be so much nicer if they picked up the trash strewn around the exterior of property. Very dirty and it gives a poor impression of the place. The casino next door was not expected but presented no problems other than no available free parking. The night clerk was not great but the day time staff was lovely. Rooms were clean and fairly modern.
