Very lovely little hotel in the heart of old Gallipoli. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the hotel is well maintained. Great breakfast as well. Loved this place!

Very friendly, and helpful staff. Check on was easy. Restaurant is average (maybe due to time of year). But staff was very friendly & attentive. Water in the room was warm at best, never got hot. Bed was too firm for me unfortunately. Location is perfect! And the inner court yard and stairs/ hallways are beautiful.

On the night we checked in, we decided to dine in the hotel restauran because it started to rain. Within 10 minutes from sitting down, the rain entered thru the roof and the floor flooded. After 40 minutes of getting drenched we were moved inside. The food took forever to arrive and our friends were served after we finished eating. The food was of poor quality. We were not offered any compensation for getting wet from the rain, the poor quality of food or late service. When we walked to the elevator we found out it stopped working because of the rain. I am handicapped, I walk with a crutch, we had to climb 2 and a half stories. When we entered our room we found it flooded with some of our belongings, those on the floor, soaked. The receptionist came to clear the water, this took about 30-40 minutes (there was no other room available). We asked to speak with the manager/owner, we were told he is busy, he is also the cook of the restaurant. In the morning we insisted to meet the manager/owner who didn't apologize, shouted at us and said that these things happen and it's a force of nature, force majeure. He was angry, didn't want to listen and very unsympathetic. After going back and forth for quite some time, the owner gave each couple 40 euro compensation for the restaurant "experiennce", flooded room and the elevator being out of order. My worst hotel experience!

Excellent location and easy parking nearby. No AC in the room but the breeze from the sea minimized the heat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the next door restaurant with the same name was very good. Overall it was a good stay. Very

A nice, classical hotel perfectly situated on the outskirts of the beautiful old town in Gallipoli. Service good, professional. We've stayed here before, and seemingly been upgraded, for which we are all the more grateful, as we have now experienced one of the standard rooms. It had one "window" giving onto a a passageway and another one giving onto an almost airless back yard. On the other hand it was big and quiet. Breakfast was quite good for an Italian hotel breakfast. All in all, the stay wasn't exactly inexpensive for what we got, but we still see this as a nice hotel.

It was a frustrating stay during the expensive season and it was not worth the price. There is no parking available and you have to park at the port 10 mins away. The hotel looks nice and the rooms are big, but it is dated with the smallest TV in the room. The air conditioner does not work, so in the middle of summer we were sweating in bed with no covers on. I became even more frustrated when I reserved a sea view room and they displayed a room with a balcony on the site, instead we got a room with a couple of windows with a difficult to see view. I included pictures with the review. The hotel is located in a historic center is very nice with great restaurants with walking distance to the local beach.

Pros: View of the sea , excellent location , Big room , tastefully decorated hotel , excellent service staff especially Mary Lou . Could be better: air-conditioning is blocked by curtains , breakfast could be more home made.

The hotel and staff were great. The downstairs room was a bit noisy with cars and Vespas. Gallipoli is very touristy and crowded. We left during the day to visit smaller, less touristy nearby villages.

Stunning building but not so good as a hotel, stairs in unexpected places, air con so noisy we had to turn it off but then when we opened the windows the traffic and restaurant noise kept us awake instead. Staff friendly and helpful.

we have been traveling Europe for the past two months, in Italy now for nearly three weeks. Although The staff was friendly and the food in the general area was perhaps some of the best seafood I've had in my life. I would never rate this hotel above a three. I feel bad about leaving such a bad review but, from the plastic cups to the linens to the curtains and the shower there was nothing in the hotel that was quality. Even the free breakfast was disappointing. I will admit though, not knowing what I was getting into we were at the hotel for five nights and in the end it did leave it's charm on us wherein we were almost sorry to say goodby to (what we referred to as) prison cell block H.

A very beautiful building. Great view of the port. Super friendly staff. WiFi barely worked in our room until we got the pw for a second wifi network, which was somewhat better. Breakfast was good. Location is very easy to access from nearby free parking.
