Centrally located classic hotel; clean but fairly Spartan rooms; nice breakfast

Very modern hotel located in the center of the town. Short walk to the train station. Very friendly staff. Daily breakfast was excellent. Very clean

Poor beds, dated rooms, no coffee machine, kettle, iron board, etc. Barebone room. Hostel grade mattress. Other than proximity to Titlis, nothing is good about the room.

Fantastic stay, very friendly and service minded staff, the breakfast was amazing, everything fresh. Rooms clean and tidy, the bed comfort is the only thing I could see improve a bit, the rest is all amazing. Thanks for a great stay, and looking forward to come back! Great big skiiroom, 1 min from trainstation and the bus stop!

Very disappointed to find the restaurant closed each evening. After a tiring journey we did not want to go in search of a restaurant for dinner in poor weather.

The location and floral accents on the hotel were remarkable! Footsteps from guests upstairs were very pronounced.

The Hotel is beautiful and clean

Stayed with two young kids. Accommodation was very specious. Separate sleeping beds for kids and adult with adequate common area for family time. Very close to the Engleberg station , short walk to the titlis gondola station. Freshly made breakfast breakfast staff were very helpful.

Nice Property.

The Hotel Schweizerhof is reminescent of a classic old Belle Époque era hotel with a great street presence. It is conveniently located a block from the train station and close to lots of restaurants and bars. The bus to Titlis ski slopes is also a block away, but you can also walk there in 10 minutes. Only disappointment was that the room was a bit dated and could use a refresh. The breakfast was decent but not exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a good hotel and reasonably priced for the quality and location.

Hotel is extremely old, not updated at all. Beds are very uncomfortable. Very limited parking. Shower was like a closet. Dirty , hair inside and mold on the wall and door was rusty. Bed very hard. There’s better options.
