Like MOST of the staff. Many seemed stressed out or mad. GREAT breakfast. No trash cans to throw away trash--except the room. ALWAYS need strong lights. Great shower. Noisy fans. Will be back!

Everything was very good

A last minute find, really happy witht the hotel. The large room overlooked a busy road (and a park) but the windows did their job well and I couldn't hear any traffic. There was a desk and a small table with an armchair. Good aircon and shower. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent in a room with plenty of daylight overlooking a small garden, you could also sit outside (also smoking area). There's a tube station 5mns away and the hotel is about 45 mns from the airport.

Nice hotel with reception on 2nd floor. Hotel was quite good, room was comfortable, pillows a bit soft, bed was comfortable. Room was a good size & had some reasonable storage space. Bathroom ok, good water pressure, shower good. Breakfast was very good with selection of hot & cold food. Overall a good stay, Staff very helpful.

I doubt Hermannplatz is a big tourist destination - it's a very mixed area - but I was here to visit an old friend nearby, who recommended Hotel L van B, and it is an absolute find. Staff delightful. Rooms spacious, clean, comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in any hotel. Right next door are ATM, mini-supermarket, a nice Italian restaurant... and a Hindu temple to Ganesh! Warmly recommended, I' shall be back.

The hotel is a bit of a throwback. 70s feel , the room was spacious , beds not comfortable and the pillow just air. The bed linen , a strange off white , yellowey colour. Shower and toilet seperate were fine. Breakast was excellent, staff were friendly. A few upgrades and this hotel would be so much better.

Not expensive, nice hotel. Of the minor inconveniences, there was no shampoo. The rest was good.

Hotel great - clean functional comfy rooms and a fab breakfast provided. It’s opposite the Hasenheide Park so the perfect stop over to participate in their Parkrun! Hermanplatz minutes away which gives easy access to the centre of Berlin - so great location… surrounding area has seen better days but that isn’t on the hotel itself. Lots of places to get food nearby - cafe or supermarket - so you cant go hungry!!!

The breakfast was excellent! While it was a little gritty outside, it was a very short walk to the train station as well as good restaurants. The staff was also very friendly.

This is a fantastic hotel; the family room is large with a separate single room. Breakfast was amazing with a huge range including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The only slight downside is the slightly dodgy area, many homeless and beggars around the hotel, but it was only a short walk to the U-Bahn. No air con but the fan made it bearable in the August heat.

Our car got vandalized at their parking lot, someone broke the glass and the hotel didn’t have insurance to compensate us, they didn’t even seem to care or give a dam about it. They said tell your insurance!! I wonder what they use their property insurance for? So anything happens to the guest they dont activate and use the insurance they have or what? If they have insurance at all. Also, no fridge, no safe and no air conditioning in the room whats that!! Bare hotel
