My room was nice with a balcony to the street. However the noise at night and in the morning were brutal. There is lots going on near the hotel. It didn't help that they were gearing up for a celebration. There is no air conditioning and the room was hot. The hotel provided two table fans which I used to get some cooling at night. I liked the hotel look. It definitely compliments the name because it is a historical building. My room was good but it is a simple hotel. Don't expect high luxury things because you are not going to find anything. The roof is nice and has tables and chairs if you want to eat upstairs. At one point there was a restaurant but it is not being used now. The front staff are great and very friendly. They will help you with anything. The Internet didn't work well. It went in and out while using it. The lady at the front fixed it the last day I was there. She kept apologizing for the spotty coverage. Overall it is a nice hotel. I will book again when I get back to Morelia.

We stayed there because this hotel is very close to everything en el centro and we were not disappointed! The location is perfect! Everything is walking distance. The hotel is beautiful and lots of history to it. The service was amazing!! The wonderful front staff was so nice and helpful. They were always kind and ready to assist with anything. We stayed in the unit with two floors and we really appreciated that we each had a bed and our privacy. The cleaning service was also amazing! We always had clean rooms, clean towels, the girl changed our sheets and comforters and kept the rooms clean. Overall I highly recommend the hotel. It’s affordable and a great experience. It’s a small hotel so don’t expect a big hotel but next door there is a coffee shop, an ice cream shop and a breakfast place that had the best natural juices and sandwiches. We were also three min walk to the plaza and cathedral. I will definitely stay there next time we visite Morelia. I can’t remember the names of the front staff and cleaning service, but I want to say that they are wonderful, caring and super professional! I loved staying at Hotel Historia!

It was our first trip to Morelia and from the moment we walked in, we were treated in a very friendly manner. The site is in a perfect location with just steps from the Cathedral and so many places to visit. Fernanda (Fer) was such a wonderful receptionist. We stayed two nights and every day she helped us navigate our trip and even helped us by printing guides and maps for us. The view from our balcony was great and the top was also spectacular. We will definitely be coming back here on our next visits.

My stay was wonder super close to the central. Staffing was super nice and helpful. The room was small and cozy for my daughter and I it was prefect.

Way to old

The hotel has an incomparable location for the price—half a block from the main square and close to just about any cuisine you choose. The room was clean and accessible. However, there were no windows, and with a lack of natural lighting and ventilation, it got hot quickly and I had to leave the door open to breathe lighter air. Overall, I would comeback if I'm not staying in all day.

This is a nice hotel conviniently located in the heart of Historic center; close to shops and restaurants. The staff could be friendlier. The restroom door makes an ugly noise at time of closing.

Excellent location, a little noisy at nights if your rooms is facing the street but not a big deal. I will definitely come back.

I like the fact that the property is close to a lot of stuff that are within walking distance. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there is no A/C in the room.

It was not good service at all. No one to helping you with the luggage. Empty building. Not air conditioning in the room. Only one credit card accepted. I left the building, a soon a find other hotel. I don’t stay there. Not recommend thank you.

I was not informed in advance that my 2 well behaved service dogs could not be left alone in my room. I was unable to go out for dinner. There is no garden or place to allow dogs out to do their functions. Ullises and Samantha were excellent.

The hotel is very nice! It is located within a few steps from the Plaza de armas and the Cathedral, as well as restaurants. I have stayed here several times before. This time I got the smallest room, it was a nice room, but very small compared to the other times. Also, the power went out at nigh in the entire historic center and the hotel did not have emergency lights or alternate lighting.

Very clean. The rooms on the street side are very noisy with music from clubs playing very loud until 3 am. No sleep

This place is beautiful! It is within walking distance to Plaza the Armas, the Cathedral and to many restaurants. Angelica the cleaning lady does a Superb job as well as the people at check-in desk. I have stayed at Hotel Historia five times and loved it every time!
