The room was very clean and comfortable and quite large. However, it is important to understand that this is not a typical hotel. It is basically two floors that have been retrofitted to individual rooms. The front desk is only available between 9-5 so if you have any issues outside this time then you are out of luck unless it is an emergency. Checkin needed to be coordinated and you can’t just show up anytime. One of our showers didn’t work properly and the door didn’t seem very secure and needed repair. Although, there is a main door that requires a code that does seem secure. Overall, it is a nice with a convenient location but does need a better description on what you are actually booking.

This quaint little hotel was situated in a beautiful neighbourhood, easy to get out and see Barcelona. We were greeted by a friendly person who checked us in and made sure we had everything that we needed. The room was so beautiful and just as the description. We were comfortable, slept well, great shower. They had lovely coffee and pastries available for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Mini fridge is super noisy, windows are not insulated so you get all the noise from the streets. They have a terrace you can drink and eat your food. No food service. Lobby open from 9am to 5pm. I really don't know how people arriving after 5pm can do check in. Location is great.

Location is perfect

Great location, simple check in, and very kind staff. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the street. not advertised with a breakfast, yet the staff provides coffee and simple pastries, as well as bottled water, as an amenity. Great value for the price. Easy access to public transportation. We caught an aerobus two blocks away that took us straight to the airport for $7.50 each. Really good shopping nearby and very close to gaudi highlights (Sagrada Família esp). Close to Boqueria, la Rambla, and Barcelona cathedral. Highly recommend. As a Barcelona “regular”, it is now on my main list of places to stay.

Beautifully decorated room, very elegant, extremely comfortable bed, friendly and helpful receptionist, hot shower, very walkable neighborhood. It's more like private apartments than a standard hotel, so funny expect a lively lobby area. Only downside was that the housekeeping needs to improve. We found trash in the trash can from the previous guest, and the bathroom cabinets very dirty inside, with hair, something that was never fixed even in the next day's cleaning.

Great location, extremely helpful and nice staff. My only complaint was the cleanliness. The showers had mold in them and the drain had not been cleaned and was full of hair so it was not draining.

We stayed in one of the family rooms for 2 nights as a base to tour the city. We arrived around 3:30pm and were greeted by Camille who was very friendly. He helped with our bags, gave us plenty of information on areas to visit, how to get there and also great places to eat that were not tourist traps. Our room was large, clean and had a lovely set of covered balconies that looked over a square. Plenty of tea and coffee with an nespresso machine which was unexpected and an added bonus. Water was also provided. The bathrooms were clean and water hot. Some wear and tear to the bathroom but not in any way to affect cleanliness. Air con was adequate. There is coffee and pastries available in the morning but we did not stay for that. The hotel felt very safe and secure. The hotel is in walking distance to the subway and buses and main shopping areas. Using the free now app, we had no problems arranging a taxi outside of the hotel to get further afield. It was an easy walk back from Sagrada Familia, taking only 20 minutes. I would not hesitate to stay here again and have recommended it to family and friends.

A quaint little hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Only downside is that the shower area is a little slippery (I know first world problems). If visiting Barcelona make the Violeta boutique your preferred option

A very nice boutique hotel in an ideal location right in the heart of the city. The family room was very well suited for our family of four with two children 10 and under - although a door between the two rooms would have made it perfect. The rooms and bathroom were clean if not spotless (in particular there were a number of scuff marks on the walls) and the twin balconies were great for relaxing away from the heat of the sun and very quiet considering the city centre location. The highlight of our stay however was the service from the manager / receptionist (whose name I shamefully forgot to ask) - he couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful in making recommendations for how to make the most of our short stay in a city with so much to offer, nor in helping with our luggage and arranging for us to leave it securely after checkout so that we could collect it on the way to the airport.

Excellent hotel in a great location, but eceb that surpassed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the team. Automatic rebook if we're lucky enough to get back to Barcelona

Perfect location Violette Boutique is a charming hotel located in the centre of Barcelona. Although there were no amenities like a pool, the staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival and offered excellent support throughout our stay. Our room on the third floor was comfortable and overlooked the street. We took the Aerobus from the airport to Plaça de Catalunya and walked three blocks to the hotel. Nearby attractions include Casa Mila, shopping districts, and many restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring the city on foot.

Excellent customer service - the staff were friendly, gracious and flexible. The room was much larger than expected with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely return.

Muy buena la atención y los cuartos lindos, limpios y con vista. Accesible a la Plaza Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia y Las Ramblas.

Very helpful friendly staff, room was very nice and clean, great setup for a family of 4. We all enjoyed our stay. Only recommendation would be to add a chair in the rooms.
