Had a great stay at Axsur. It's located in a prime area near restaurants and cafes and walking distance to most of the major landmarks and events in the city. The only issue we had was with the placement of the shower head, which was too close to the wall and required taking down and using like a handheld shower head instead. I'm not sure if all of the bathrooms have this issue, it was minor for us.

Fomos surpreendidos na chegada com um local feio, rua deserta e escura, carro na rua em frente com vidro quebrado, recepção e restaurante pequenos, um recepcionista nada cativante, nos informando para não parar o carro na rua em frente onde tinham algumas mal encaradas na calçada. Na mesma hora desistimos deste hotel e fomos procurar outro. Os quartos poderiam até ser confortáveis mas a região do hotel nada agradável.

Muito espaço o quarto (cama maravilhosa) e boa localização. O café da manhã é simples, mas gostoso. O custo benefício é excelente. Um hotel espacoso, simples, limpo e com uma cama muito boa.

The hotel listed having a kitchen and bar. The kitchen was limited to offering a mediocre breakfast. The bar was limited to selling one type of beer, no wine nor cocktails. The amenities included a gym. A small, dark room with three aerobic devices does not count as a gym. The staff were helpful and nice.

Nice quiet close to town walking distance to restaurants and shopping

Muy bonito y super limpio, cerca de la peatonal y a pocas cuadras del mercado del puerto. Restaurantes, supermercados y farmacias todo cerca. También a 1 cuadra de la Rambla. Muy recomendable 👍.

Windows facing the water. Hallway and lobby smells funky. Neighborhood somewhat dicey, but acceptable for us.

Nice clean and conveniently located

Nice and clean hotel in an interesting and walkable part of old town. Totally worth the upgrade to get the larger suite. The open windows with the water view is really cool. Room is large, bed is large, bath is also nice and big. The only (small) thing surprisingly missing from the room is an iron. Otherwise, can't complain. Staff is very nice and helpful as well. Would totally stay here again.

I am surprised this hotel has. 4 star rating and is ranked so high. This is my first negative review ever as I tend to let go of such things. The staff barely speaks any English. It is very hard to communicate. I ran out of toilet paper one day and I tried to get one from the cleaning lady who was going to service my roo,. Instead she yelled like an unhinged person. The toilet leaked; I flagged this but it was never addressed. The front desk people are sullen and rarely wnt to talk to you especially if you are an English speaker. Breakfast is $12 and a miserable affair (a couple of pastries, cheese ham and some coffee). You can’t self serve because they yell at you. They need to serve breakfast but there’s only one person that serves the breakfast area usually so it takes a long time. Overall, a horrible experience. I have stayed at 2 star hotels in the past with superior service. STAY WAY FROM THIS HOTEL.
