We had an amazing experience! Truly lived up to everything we were hoping for and exceeded expectations. The staff was helpful and kind every step of the way. The rooms, pool, and FOOD were outstanding.

Overall very good but the music from the public beach area made it difficult to sleep a few nights. They even had to call the police one night as the loud music continued to 4 am.

I had high hopes for Hotel El Ganzo because it’s a beautiful property with a great atmosphere, but unfortunately my stay was overshadowed by a very upsetting experience. Before leaving our room, we specifically requested that housekeeping not enter. Despite that request, housekeeping entered our room anyway. When we returned, we discovered that $700 in cash was missing. I immediately reported the incident to hotel management and requested that it be investigated. This situation left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed. Regardless of what ultimately happened to the money, our request for no housekeeping access should have been respected. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooftop and overall design are wonderful, but feeling that your belongings are not secure can ruin an entire vacation.

The Hotel El Ganzo was offering great rates for our stay dates, so my partner and I switched hotels and are happy with our choice. We arrived to the hotel around 1:30pm after a flight delay, and were told our room wouldn't be ready until check-in at 3:00pm, which was fine, because it gave us time to have a delicious lunch in their restaurant. The food at the hotel is on the pricy side, but there are other choices nearby that are excellent, like George's and Spicy Tuna sushi. There's also a hot dog/hamburger stand that has excellent reviews for good reason. Ubers work great there. My partner is big into fishing, so being close to the marina made things much easier for his fishing trips. I'm more of a beach lounger, and I didn't mind the short boat ride across the way to the hotel's beach area, which was created just for 3 hotels it seems. Cabanas and umbrellas were always available. I loved the cabana and caught up on my reading. The water was delightful, and the beach area was very nice and groomed. The food and drinks were also fantastic, just pricy, but that was expected. Even without an "all-inclusive" package, our stay cost much less than it would have at one of those places. The room was clean and well air-conditioned. We realized the reason for the great deal was likely because they were doing some renovations on the second floor, but the work going on was so quiet, we didn't hear it much at all. The staff were all wonderful, but a special shout out to Allen sp?

A wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, the private beach was beautiful and impeccably clean, and the food was exceptional. While dining is on the pricey side, the cuisine is truly world-class and worth experiencing.

Everything was amazing besides the beach club. It was not adults only at the beach club and the kids changed the vibe of the area. They could also play better music at the beach club. IMO

the property is well maintained and staff is helpful and friendly. no phones which is kind of strange. had to walk down to front desk to ask for help with the shower. otherwise a fine choice. will return next year.

Fantastic stay at El Ganzo. Situated in a beautiful location boasting gorgeous sea views and access to a private beach, it’s a hard experience to top! Lovely staff who made us feel like royalty.

Great service and large room

Nice property with a great beach facility.

Rooms were clean. We were able to check in a few hours early. Rooftop pool was great and short boat ride over to beach was easy. The beach does have children as it is a shared beach club. The drink and food prices were a little high, expect to pay $20+ for mixed drink. Overall great resort to relax and it was very quiet the time we were there.

We loved the hotel. We'll come anytime! The bedroom was beautiful and clean. The pool bar was something else with such a friendly staff specially Gustavo and Estefania. The pool bar was one of the highlights of our trip. Going to the beach club by a little boat was also a cool thing.

Real feedback. The guests were too drunk and obnoxious! We felt unsafe one time. The food isn’t as good as the prices reflect. The room bathrooms do not offer enough privacy one can hear all the toilet activities. :( On the positive side the location was superb, the staff well trained and very polite, and the facilities were beautiful.
