Beautiful place. Very kid friendly

Not a 5* more a 4* sunbeds around pool old and uncomfortable, not the ones on the web site, spa pool towels very old and thin, breakfast very good,what makes this hotel is the staff, they are all young which was a surprise but just friendly and professional, as a solo traveler they all had excellent customer service. especially Erica, Joao and John in restaurant.

Fantastic Stay at Palacio dos Arcos in Aug 24. Excellent Value and facilities including the indoor and outdoor pool and massage. Rooms were clean, large and the balcony view of the sea from our 2nd floor room was great. We took advantage of the Half Board option which provided an excellent dinner in the evening - a special mention for Joao who looked after us exceptionally well. Proximity to the train station, meant easy access along the coast to Cascais, must be said no noise from the train could be heard from the hotel. Look forward to returning again.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were surprised by how dark the room was—there wasn't much light, the light fixtures were old. Additionally, our room was quite far from the hotel entrance, which was inconvenient. Overall, the experience was okay, but the hotel felt a little outdated and could use some refreshing.

This hotel is magnificent. I enjoyed every minute. The only complaint I have is re coffee. The lack of a coffee machine at breakfast was disappointing. There are Nespresso machines which you can request for your room. Unfortunately none were available during our stay. But overall everything was brilliant and I’ll be back - requesting my Nespresso machine before arrival 😁

Positives : check in was smooth, the indoor pool was very nice and well Maintained. Room was clean . Breakfast was average Negatives : room lacked basic amenities, no hair dryer , makeup remover wipes would be nice touch . It felt very basic even though we were told that our room Was in upgraded section of hotel .

Location and character of the main building

Really nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Close to train station into central Lisbon, three minutes walk.

This is a wonderful hotel with helpful, polite and attentive staff, always available to support you. The hotel is within a local residential neighbourhood but feels quiet, private and has an attractive garden with a clean and pleasant poolside area. There is also an indoor pool and spa with a very simple gym. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Top quality breakfast with good service and lots of choice. There are local restaurants nearby outside the hotel that we found (in July 2023) to be of extremely good value and high quality. We would suggest Tasquinha Da Vila for a great meal. Nearest train station is a 5 min walk where you can catch a suburban train into central Lisbon with a journey time of 20 mins. We found buying the viva viagem card useful for frequent trips in and out of the city.

Great hotel set in its own attractive garden. Convenient location for travel and restaurants. Staff always excellent. Arranged transfer from Lisbon airport for us, 4 adults and a toddler needing a child seat, which was very helpful. In fact, hotel and staff are very welcoming of children. Stayed 5 times now and never disappointed. Going to book our 6th stay later this year.

I have just returned from an amazing stay at this Hotel. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel is in an area that doesnt have very much around it so you need to travel to other areas for eating out. But this Hotel is in the ideal location for traveling into Lisbon and other tourist locations. It is also perfect for spending a day by the pool. I only had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and it was wonderful the food was amazing.

Clean, well kept, and relatively new. Beautiful pool and great breakfast. Best hotel in Oeiras for the money.

We booked this stay and were excited for the trip. The hotel exterior is gorgeous and interior is ok. The hotel rooms are very dated. I was shocked by the cost for a 3rd person. I believe it was a 30% fee and they just gave us the couch bed. They did not provide us with a blanket or pillow for the couch bed. They provided just 2 nespresso pods (for 3 adults) and charged us for the 3rd even tho we had paid hundreds of dollars for someone to sleep on a crappy couch bed. They didn’t provide the 3rd robe, towel or any other amenities. Our first night we called the front desk and told them our AC was not working. They kept coming to the room and telling us it was - when it very clearly wasn’t and you could stand in front of the vent to see it not work. Finally someone came at 3:30am and agreed it wasn’t working and said they were saying it was working “cause they didn’t know what else to do”. They offered to move us to another room the following day. Overall I would give our experience there a 1 out of 5. I asked the front desk to work with me on the charges and they said the manager would call me- never did. Don’t recommend staying here at all.
