A little honey pot, when people get to know about Gilpin, you will not be able to get a room. Wonderful food, very help staff. The only little down point, is there isn’t a cooked breakfast. But, the breakfast which I did have was delicious.

Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back

A great location to stop after a long drive. Very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely locally sourced products. Whilst we didn't eat dinner here it was busy and there us a children's play area too. We ate at the Hare & Hounds; a very pleasant 20 minute walk away. There is plenty of car parking spaces at the Gilpin. The breakfast is very basic. We would definitely stay again but not opt for the breakfast.

Welcoming, friendly staff despite a busy day. Our room was clean and warm. The food plentiful. Breakfast is a self-service continental style. We would recommend the Gilpin Bridge and would definitely book again.

Very clean room and lovely friendly staff. Food was hit or miss, lovely mushroom starter then the special lasagne was dry, and bland. Breakfast was diy. Not a great range of options.

Continental breakfast is acceptable and all sraff were good, approachable.There was good spacious parking facilities. The restaurant and bar is very good . There was some play area for kids near the parking.

Rooms were fantastic, clean and thoughtfully decorated. Staff really helpful and considerate. Dinner was superb, portion sizes were huge!

Lovely continental breakfast, restaurant food was excellent also. Staff very helpful and friendly and would recommend to family and friends.

Unfortunately the carpark spaces are very small for today's size cars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Standard room was small but very good value for money. Location perfect for gateways to lakes or for a stop off to Scotland

The room was very clean and tidy and the staff were great throughout. We ate on the first night and the food was really good.

Everything they offered was fine - however there was no hairdryer making the shower irrelevant, and no bedside glasses for night-time drinks although the tea/coffee cups could be repurposed. A few issues at check-in but they were dealt with well by the staff. So fine, but a few things could be improved.

Room was clean comfortable and practical. Bathroom was modern looking and good hot shower. Complimentary continental breakfast was good. Great choice of cereals croissants muffins bread n jam. Choice of juices tea and coffee.

Everywhere is spotless , staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is to much trouble,
