Perfect location and having free onsite parking is great considering the cost of parking in the pay lots in town.

Lots of space, easy check-in, clean room and conveniently located.

Good room with comfortable beds and pillows. Some signs of wear in the bathroom, grout around the tiles and trim, but still clean overall. The one thing I didn't see on the property was an ice machine.

The staff was amazing and very helpful.

Knew it was basic for amenities, but this is a motel, not a hotel as represented in the description. Very sparse amenities, and desk only available from 2:30-10:30 pm during our stay. While it worked fine for us, there is no noise blocking AT ALL. If you have trouble sleeping or it’s busy season and you need a quiet place, I’d skip this one. No elevators, so if you have any issues with stairs request the first floor. It was fine, but don’t think I’d use a Base Camp property in the future if I can avoid it. Reviews made it sound nicer than what it is. It was pretty clean and the bed wasn’t too bad, so that was a plus.

Perfect location in Canmore -conveniently located on the pedestrian walkway in downtown with shops & food right outside your door. Would 100% stay here again & recommend to others.

We loved the place... very nearby to main street. However the rooms are not ventilated enough and AC was not sufficient for the big bedroom and and was not working properly even for smaller bedrooms. There was all utensils here to be able to cook and they provided more than sufficient towels when requested for room service. We took the 3 bedroom stayplace which can accomodate 10 people but unfortunately they were not able to provide parking for 2nd car. Overall would recommend all improvements but still worth the stay

The room was nice and clean. But we got settled in the room last minute and it’s by the street on the first floor. We had too much noise from the street and upper level. We can hear people’s talking and movements. Really annoying

Invest in comfortable pillows! Hard as rocks is not my style of comfort

Location is perfect for those wanting to walk around the downtown. Beautiful views, stunning scenery, amazing food and tasty drinks. Our room happened to be on the street and was very noisy at times. We could also hear the people in the front lobby very well, the ductwork was projecting into our room (we could hear a disagreement between staff and customers). However staff were friendly and attentive.

Strict check in and out times however allowed to park before check in time which was helpful. Didn’t see any staff for the most part and they seem to have a fully digital system. The air conditioning was extremely loud so disturbed sleep. Shower was weak too which was disappointing. Big TV with lots of channels which was nice and beds were comfortable. Fridge also convenient. Great location for Canmore centre and walking distance to everything. Lovely views from the room. However it felt a little tired. Also never seen a cocktail shaker in a hotel room before! Towels provided including resort towels for the hot tub. Rooms were quiet too. Just some squeaky floor boards from the room above. No lift so if carry a case is a problem then request a ground floor room. Overall would recommend and stay again.
