Location is good for attractions, restaurants, and even a laundry. Staff are nice and luggage storage provided. However, one time there was no staff in reception area and a few of customers were stuck in lobby or outside because the auto door stopped working. Later we found the door in the other can open but that means anyone can get into the luggage storage room and steal the luggage. the facility is weird that there was no telephone in my room so we only can go to lobby for requests. Other than that, the property still a pretty good choice.

This is the best place in Madrid to start off your vacation with the left foot. This is the most expen$$$ive HOSTAL in Madrid -AIN"T A HOTEL. The JC rooms are claustrophobic, no water, no amenities, and it feels like sleeping in an upgraded casket. The front desk is "run" by one person -it's really a ONE man Hostal show. The final act... we discovered the Hostal double charged our credit card for one extra night. Good luck trying to get your money back :( This people are professional deceivers and there's no hospitality. We suggest to change the name of the hotel to: VR Hostal (Vacation Ruin/Virtual Reality Hostal)

The restaurant is not in the hotel, you need to walk out side the hotel to go get the included breakfast

Great location and price.

We did not like how small the room was. Almost no room to place our suitcases on the floor. No other place to put them. Beds were only made with a sheet. It needs a light quilt or blanket. Air conditioner worked great. Shower was great.

Good location for going to the most important places.

Basic facilities. Just what we needed for a short stay. Nothing to complain about.

Generally dozens of rooms with windows onto the square. However do not accept to be put into room Ukraine (Ucrania) on the first floor. It’s like a dungeon, a bunker, practically no daylight coming in, you need lights on during the day! Claustrophobic.

There’s nothing unique about this property, it was not clean mu daughter found 3 bed bugs and we had to move

Great location! The room was cozy but very clean. Our stay included breakfast which was fine for a couple days due to the limited menu.

The location is excellent in the heart of the old city of Madrid.

The room is way too small for four people, no space even for a suitcase. Breakfast was terrible too, better not to offer anything than offer this.

Enjoyable close to great sites

The hotel is really a good location. Shopping and tourist spots are walkable. The only bad thing happened to us was my niece was unfortunately locked in bathroom for 3 hours. She locked it but it didn't opened anymore until the owner came. The lock was complicated. It happened middle of the night. So it was a trauma. Be careful and the management must do about this.
