Wonderful staff!

It was an amazing stay overall. The place is fabulous, the staff incredibly kind. 100% recommended!

Villa Schiatti is a lovely position with its stunning outlook to the valley and its proximity to Castiglion Fiorentino, About the only negative we had was the lack of venue choice for the evening meal - perhaps if there was something available earlier, maybe downstairs with a more casual menu that included pizzas etc.

Lovely hotel, booked an apartment so rooms was large. Bed was comfortable. Strange arrangement with the onsite restaurant (not run by the hotel) where you have to pay for everything separately - would it be that hard to setup a billing arrangement with the hotel? Food was pretty good though considering there are no other restaurants for miles. Hotel pool was lovely and the kids play area a nice touch.

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff, a real delight

Villa Schiatti is a gorgeous and rustic hotel to stay near Cortona and surrounding villages. The rooms are authentic and well equipped with private bathroom and fridge, safe etc. and clean bed and towels. The wifi was adequate, a little slow depending on time of day but good to switch off from the world occasionally. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and also spoke English well. The buffet breakfast was extensive and the coffee good. We also ate dinner twice during our stay which was also quite nice. We also used the drop off and pick up service to the train station to catch a train to Firenze which takes only about an hour. The gardens and grounds were beautiful and well kept, if only we had come in summer and we could have used the pool which was also immaculate. Extremely good value for a traditional Tuscan experience.

An old fashioned property set up in the hills with beautiful views, with tentative staff.

Beautiful location. The food is excellent both for evening meal and breakfast. As it is an old building the rooms are not luxurious however they are spacious and clean and well worth the compromise for everything else the hotel has to offer. I would definitely return.

Helpful staff and friendly service added to our stay and enjoyment of Tuscany. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

Beautiful views from restaurant terrace and very attentive staff. I was concerned at first about the slightly tricky access but the dining was so good we didn't want to dine anywhere else in the evenings. The staff were very kind and attentive and we felt like part of the family.

Traditional, stately stone villa with beautiful sceneries and sunsets. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. Limited menus as expected but has a beautiful pool and multiple terraces. Offered a perfect contrast after 3 days in Rome.

Gut erhaltenen und unterhaltene Herrschaftsvilla mit moderner Infrastruktur. Poolanlage. Schöne Zimmer mit Ausblick. Gute Betten. Hervorragend ist jedoch das Frühstücksbuffet und die integrierte Osteria mit sensationeller Küche. Ein Genuss.

Bien , piscine restaurant chambre et environnement très agréable seul les lits individuels sont trop petit ( largeur et longueur )

Sehr schöne Villa in Aussichtslage über dem Val die Chiana. Sehr freundlicher Service, schöner Pool und - während unseres Aufenthaltes im Mai 2021 - ausgezeichnetes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das dazugehörige (aber getrennt betriebene) Restaurant ist sogar einen eigenen Aufenthalt wert. Fine dining zu einem bemerkenswert guten Preis. Der Zufahrtsweg ist relativ schmal. Der Parkplatz dann sehr grosszügig.

Hotel un po attempato necessiterebbe una rivisitazione delle sue camere Spartane e con impianto elettrico da potenziare. Poco gradevole il pungente odore di aglio proveniente dalle cucine che si propaga per le scale e quindi sino davanti la porta delle camere. Personale sempre gentilissimo e attento. la strada di accesso alla struttura non è delle più felici. la posizione e la tranquillità è da 10 !

Dit Hotel is echt heel leuk, de ontvangst was hartverwarmend. Inchecken ging top en de eigenaresse was behulpzaam en enthousiast over van alles aan het vertellen. Prachtig gelegen zwembad, was voor mijzelf een beetje te koud. Het eten in het restaurant is geweldig. Een echte aanrader dus. Ontbijt ondanks Covid maatregelen prima geregeld.

Super dejligt sted med service i god stil. Eventyrlig stil. God Concierge - ejeren selv i receptionen.

Location perfetta per il Relax. Bello il posto, la vista ed i servizi. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Ottima posizione per poter esplorare i bellissimi dintorni.
