Wonderfull stay at lalit F&B,Concierge and FO staff was excellent thanks to FO Manager Rahat.

Ordered food from the kitchen and got uncooked chicken, we asked them to replace it and got chicken again which my husband ate and got sick for 2 days. This ruined our whole trip to Chandigarh and we could not get out of the room because of the food poisoning the food gave my husband. We eventually had to go to hospital to get some help with the food poisoning and spent a whole lot of money there as well for the treatment. Not a 5 start service as the hotel claims.

The flooring in the rooms needs updating. The bedsheets are stained and we’re not changed even after I requested the staff.

Extremely poor service of staff. Do not listen to requests, delay in everything. My experiences: 1. Room was not ready upon arrival, even at 4:30 PM when I arrived. 2. In room dining - I had to make 6 calls, order was not placed. Finally I called again 7th time snd still it took long. Took 1.5 hrs for in room dining to be deliver at night especially when I jad already gone to sleep. 3. Breakfast next morning - no professionalism, pointed to me to the table that was so far to even see. What happened to Indian hospitality?? To take your guest to the table and settle him in. Then when I got to my table, table was dirty from previous guest and had to call 3 times to clean. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never stay at The Lalit in Chandigarh. I will subsequently be putting feedback and reviews to all platforms. I was traveling from New York, USA and was shocked to see the service when I was expecting Indian hospitality. Forget hospitality, the staff did not even perform basic services for guests.

Not worth the price

Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, it is a 5 star hotel and they live up to it. Yes a few bits in the room are a little worn but it’s more than made up for in terms of the rest of the property. Really enjoyable stay… great breakfast options …. Would defo stay again.

The property is lovely unfortunately staff in dining area are not so goid at providing service Hotel lacks a good traditional dishes.
