I love this little gem in Parksville, starting to feel like it needs some TLC in rooms but still a great place to stay

Good hotel, clean room and friendly helpful staff. Especially, loved the outdoor space and communal lounge.

My room was very noisy. I heard people coming and going all the time as I was very close to the check-in and doors. It might be helpful if a sign was put up in the evening especially asking people to consider/respect others who may be trying to rest. I’m an elderly woman so like to go to bed by 9:00 or so. Several nights I didn’t get much sleep as people were talking loudly in the halls or the two recreational rooms. I would have liked to open the door to ask them to talk quietly but at my age I don’t dare do that. I would have asked for another room but was too exhausted the first night I was there and thereafter just didn’t feel like it. I got the feeling the hotel was fully booked. Otherwise the staff were very friendly.

Good clean room, friendly staff. AC can be noisy through the night but put it down to white noise…. Overall 4*+ will use again…

Overall, a good hotel for the price. Very clean, and the staff is welcoming. Our only wish is for a better soundproofing in pretty much the entire building, but will stay again given the cost.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. Helpful & friendly staff, clean and quiet room. Would recommend.

Great stay. Beautifully renovated room with lots of space. Very clean and quiet. Elevator was fast and handy for luggage. The lounge area had a great, much appreciated coffee machine. The complementary mini-putt game at the place across the street was a fun touch. Parking was free and plentiful. Close to the beach, restaurants and all amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay and got to play mini golf for free

Booked a room at coast. Said they were full no rooms left. I checked 4 hrs later and they were still taking bookings. rerouted me to tide inn. For same price. Unfortunately this is a dirty 1 star at best. I was ripped off. Yelling and fighting through the night with the monthly term rental guests. Room wasn’t clean.etire place is rundown. In fact it was gross. Total bait and switch. This should be investigated.

Very pet friendly. Nice location. If have stove hood fan in the kitchenette room. Will be better.

We've stayed in 9 different hotels/short-term rentals in the last 3 weeks & this was by far the best! Extremely clean. Helpful friendly staff. Creative, unusual amenities (a relaxing lounge with games, hot & cold drinks, soft music, tv, comfy furniture. Pretty private outdoor spaces to gather. Free admission to amazing mini-golf across the street.) One block to the shore. Close to restaurants. If you're in Parksville, this is the place to stay.

I used to travel here more often but lately i have booked elsewhere in the area (more ocean front if i can afford it). But i realized some of the rooms are more run down - each room is a bit different but my room had black mold in the bathroom and lots of grime in the shower. Other than that the room was clean. Staff were nice. Bed was comfy enough. Large towels as well which is always nice after a shower.

The room was well appointed. The bathroom had a tub 😀. And as a person who doesn't drink tea or coffee, it was a real selling point the free hot chocolate was available in the lounge. I am very happy with my stay and will come again.

We had a room across from the ice machine and the elevator. I was concerned about that but the machine was quiet all night and so was the elevator. However I would still ask for another room our next stay there.

Friendly service! Clean, comfortable room. Fabulous, quiet location. Close to the ocean, walking trails and playground. Nice grassy area for our dog. We enjoyed our stay!
