Well located, clean, quite new with very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay

I booked this hotel via Expedia/Hotels.com as a budget option but with central Mahon location. The hotel owners gave obviously thought about how the hotel should look and that runs through the entire hotel. It's a simple but modern style but it works! The family who run the hotel are friendly & happy to help you if you're pleasant to them. Breakfast is a traditional Menorcan affair of toast with tomatoes and various toppings plus almond cake, juice etc but it's tasty! The hotel itself is well located for local shops, restaurants and travel which makes it an ideal base for a weekend away to a longer holiday.

Wow what a find! This hostal is a little beauty. The rooms are small but really modern and quiet and I had the best nights sleep. We landed late at the airport and took a taxi to the hostal which took around 5-10 mins. We quickly checked into our room and walked down to the harbour where there are many lovely restaurants and bars to chose from. We had a meal and then several drinks and came back to the hostal. In the morning we got coffees from the cafe owned by the hostal which were very reasonable priced. Check out wasn’t until 12 so we checked out then walked into Mao centre where there was a market on and then we got on the bus to Ctiaudella. The bus station is quite big and there’s tv screens which tell you which stand your buss will pull into. We found the buses reliable and used Apple Maps to plan our journey all around the island. I would definitely stay at this hostal again and for longer than the one night. The staff are all very friendly and the room and bathroom were very modern and clean and had towels and basic toiletries. Would highly recommend this little gem :-)

This is a very nice hotel, near the center of town. It is basic, but has a nice restaurant. The views are not really great, but it is only a couple of blocks from the harbor, which has really nice views. I've stayed at many places on the island, and overall this is my favorite.

The hotel did not have us on their list the day we checked in but managed to find us a room in the hotel annex next door but when opening the door to our room the bed was not made up and they sent us to another room which was very nice and roomy but the day before checking out we was told due to a leak we will have to move into another room for the last night which was very small compared to the other room. However the staff were very friendly and the general cleanliness of the hotel was very good.

Didn't stay the night, just used this place as a place to rest before catching a late flight. It's 5 minutes walk from all the bars and shops in the centre of Mahon. The guy on reception was lovely and the room was all I needed for a break. Exceptional value considering most hotels charge €30 for a late check out. Only issue I had was I couldn't get any hot water for a shower.

Hotel was clean tidy and comfortable however there was no restaurant on site and none close by. The purpose of our stay was to see the sights of Mahon.

Good location and friendly staff

Plus points Relaxed and very friendly staff . Restaurant serves basic but adequate breakfast. Good hot shower. Bed comfortable. Clean and towels, bedding changed regularly. Location perfect for exploring Mahon. Central Bus Station within walking distance that goes all over island. . ( 5.10 euros for single fare to opposite end of island Cuitedella). Minuses No room service,restaurant ( breakfast only), no tea making facilities in room. Weekends were noisy with I think young Menorcans using as base for night out in Mahon? We would recommend to people looking for clean, basic base to explore what Menorca has to offer.

I just stayed a week at the hostal 'La Isla' in Mahon and can only recommend it to anyone! The hostal is like a B&B type set-up and just excellent value for money. I went there pre-season (end of March), so, obviously, everything was fairly quiet - which is exactly what I was looking for. The owner, Paco, and his family are super helpful and friendly and I cannot wait to go back there again. The hostal is located in the old town part of Mao and rooms are very nice, functional and quiet. As I said, this is a fantastic place and great value for money, if you're looking for a great, clean, friendly place on a budget. Two very entusiastic thumbs up y'all!

Check in staff were very Friendly and available. We were welcomed to the hotel and helped with everything we needed (lugages, extra blankets and so on). The rooms aren't the spacious ones you find in more elite hotels, but they were practical, cosy , warm and most importantly, everything was working! The hotel is an inch away from historical downtown of the island's capital. Spot on, I know understand why this hotel is so highly rated. It deserves that 100%!
