We had an ocean view It was a partial view but very good and morning sun. FYI we stayed 3 weeks but during the days prior to Ash Wed in Feb. they have a huge carnival, and the grandstand is in front of hotel so the noise level is very high and continues late into the night. So be aware it starts the Friday night and the last night is Shrove Tues. Ear plugs do not work and we ended up moving to a friend's place for four nights while carnival was on.

I reserved a premium room with an ocean view. Not knowing it was on the 3rd floor, we asked to change to a lower floor as my husband could not climb 3 flights of stairs. The manager immediately changed us to a ground level room but with no balcony nor ocean view. The room had a musty smell. It was not comparable to the premium room. He could not provide any other room at that time as they were fully booked. He refunded me a small amount but did not cover the money I lost for the cost of a premium room. The other issue is that street vendors played loud music until late at night. The manager and staff were friendly and understanding. Our stay was still pleasant but I was disappointed that we didn’t get what initially paid for.

Great view.

Great location. Very, very poorly equipped kitchen. Not even a pot, only fry pan with a laddle no spatula. Drinking water not supplied. Hot water and wifi sporadic. Not fabulous, but ok.

The rooms are spotless..they are constantly cleaning! Showers are not great but to be expected. Beach front! I would definitely stay again if I were in Progreso.

Room was spotless! Very friendly and helpful staff. Beach front views from many of the rooms. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were great. It’s right on the malecon, so it was noisy. The room was adequate, nothing special. The security wasn’t the greatest, you could see light through the side of the door.

No hot water. No water pressure to take a shower. Not even a bottle of water or any glasses in the room.

Soso but was to noisy they have people selling food at late night on the side and music playing too loud

Wonderful as always, Maria is a treasure that always makes our stay brighter. We never stay anywhere else when we go to Progreso

room was perfect...housekeeping staff are great. A little noisy with all the goings on on the waterfront but definitely fun to watch and view is beautiful

No hot water, tv didn’t work. Room was clean and staff friendly. It is noisy outside until around 11pm so be prepared for that.

Nous étions dans une suite junior chambre no.3 pour une semaine. La femme de ménage a été très gentille et le ménage bien fait. En gros c'est vieillot et aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. La chambre est trop petite pour les meubles ou vice-versa. 1- c'est une table pour 6 personnes même s'il y a juste 4 chaises, beaucoup trop massif. Le sofa est énorme, beaucoup trop gros. Ce n'est pas un sofa fonctionnel, mais plus un lit d’appoint. La cuisine est bien car munie d'un réfrigérateur d'un bon format et d'une belle plaque de cuisson. L'évier devrait être changé car il fait dur. La salle de bain est très petite, mais la douche est d'une bonne grandeur. Il y a une senteur d'eau usées qui s'explique par le fait qu'il n'y a pas de « p-trap » en dessous du lavabo. L’hôtel n'offre pas d'eau potable sauf une petite bouteille 600ml pour une semaine. L’hôtel n'offre pas de serviette de plage. Vous devez demander si vous voulez une cafetière, mais ils ne fournissent rien d'autre que la cafetière. Vous avez deux chaises pour le balcon qui offre une superbe vue de la mer et de la maleçon. Je suggère fortement à l’hôtel d'offrir un service de location de serviette de plage et d'avoir une machine à café au lobby et de réparer la plomberie en dessous du lavabo.. aussi je suggère d'offrir de 1 litre d'eau par jour. La location de l’hôtel est super bien.

Room was clean, staff were very friendly. Location was great as well as the view from balcony. Shower pressure was non existent. Bass thumping club music till 2am on Sunday morning , if you don't want to be near the noise this place is not for yiu

Clean, modern ground floor room with necessary amenities... ideally situated on the Malecon and close to everything. Good value for the money.

It was very cold and no blankets were supplied when requested. There was a very noisy generator running outsideon street under our room Not super accommodating and we left in the early evening. Did not spend the night!

Great location. Wonderful staff. Room was clean and well maintained. We chose a room with 2 double beds but had not thoughly researched the amenities.There was no window to the outside and no place to sit inside the room (which wasn't a huge issue until we had rainy/windy days and couldn't sit on the beach). We were unable to upgrade our room upon arrival. I would definitely stay there again, but would choose a better room.
