The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We felt warmly welcomed.

The area is ok very close toctheain attractions and things but near a police station so basically all night it's sirens. The staff were nice enough but they made kind of a big deal about us leaving our bags there the day we checked out which is pretty standard practice for a hotel so not sure why that was such a problem

Gentleman at reception was lovely and dispute language barriers was very helpful. Unfortunately the toilet in our had not cleaned properly and the room was very small and basic. Location however, was excellent

Pluses: very central location and friendly staff. Minus: bad soundproofing inside the hotel-could hear anyone walking passed, neighbours from both sides showering, etc

I found it to be very clean, comfortable, quiet...the reception staff spoke Good English and were very helpful and friendly. Edgar, if I remember his name correctly, helped provide me directions on how to go to the Palacio Royale and the cathedral near it. He also recommended a good breakfast resto and gave me directions to Apartamentos Mayor plus cost of taxi fare.

This is a basic hotel room but in a great location! Perfectly servicable and safe!

good location but staff barely speaks English, the elevator is ancient and didn't work part of the time, and I got the third degree when a friend came over to visit -- he had to show ID and they wrote his name down.

This hostel is basic the room was small and the bathroom was modern and clean situated on Gran Via the major road that runs through Madrid therefore there was a lot of noise however it was centrally situated for all the tapas bars and restaurants and within walking distance of many sites such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor and only a short metro ride from Retiero park and many of the museums was good value for money

I would say that our stay served its purpose. It could’ve been better if our room was cleaned better. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and we don’t think our floor was ever cleaned. Other than that our stay was comfortable. Location was great because we were close to everything.

Great place in heart of Madrid.Smallish room, good size bathroom. Very clean. Even though it is on a busy street the sound proofing in the room is very good.Front desk staff very nice.

I was very impressed with this hostel for the price. We got a single room with bathroom and it was awesome. Everything was new and clean. The common area was quiet which was fine. It overlooked a small courtyard and street which were nice to look at through the large windows that opened up. Location was good, right down the street from the metro and within walking distance to plaza del sol. I recommend it to anyone!
