Excellent stay

Lovely modern hotel very near to the sea. Excellent in every way, great food in the restaurant. Only downside poor signage from main road above so really difficult to find

Very nice spacious room with sea-view balcony, fridge and minibar. Staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast in the morning was great. Parking garage was an added perk and inexpensive.

We were greeted with a very warm and inviting welcome. Our room had a great balcony with views of the ocean. Easy parking and the hotel itself was impeccable (clean, modern, and comfortable) The hotel is in an excellent location and steps away from a great littl uncrowdwed pebble beach. But what made our stay more special was the staff, Anna especially who was thoughtful, friendly and always with a smile. What an excellent way to be greeted and also bid a fond farewell by someone who genuinely cares about their guest! We will be back again next time we are in the area.

Our stay was amazing. We loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our checkin was quick as well. Overall, this was a perfect place to stay. We wish we would have had more time here!

Staff very friendly and helpful and really made our stay enjoyable. Only too happy to tell you how to get around etc. Restaurant attached to hotel not so great. Not much selection at breakfast cereal wise. Tablecloths usually dirty and often just turned over. Food was alright but twice I had pork which was very dry and tough. Beds comfortable and views from balcony nice. Shower head blocked up and water that did come out felt like needles. Cleaners let the place down. Only once hoovered rooms in suite despite crumbs on floor. Didn't always remove dirty cups or glasses. Nice quiet location and quick access to stony beach. Took us 40 mins to walk to town of Omis (2.8 km) which is small but lovely.

Great staff. Many of the sea view room are partially blocked views. We were unhappy with the view from our first room, so they let us change rooms. That view was much better. The location is beautiful. Very hard to find. Don't use the address on Google maps. Use a dropped pin instead.

Quiet and plain hotel, very clean and very modern but lacks character and atmosphere. A nice one night stay here but would not stay longer. Sea view room has a building in front blocking most of the view so can only see small elements of the sea. Difficult to get to other areas without a car. Quiet beach within 10 mins walk.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at Villa Miramar, the staff were always friendly when you walked through the main lobby and the hotel was spotlessly cleaned every day. The only complaint would be the steepness of the surrounding hills which obviously is something of nature and out of the hotels capabilities of changing, but it was always a great work out to get up and down from the beach. The food was great and we would highly recommend eating at the hotels restaurant if you can't think of anywhere else to go. One other thing, we stayed on the first floor of the hotel which is advertised as sea view when in fact we only had a partial sea view because of the building in front obstructing the view, maybe this should be put into the room description for these rooms when placing a book. Again, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Definately one of my best stays at the Croatian shore. Clean and well furbished room with a jaw dropping view over the ocean and the private beach below. I even had a small balcony where I could sit in the evenings and watch the sunset. There is a garage under the hotel which always stays cool and is a fantastic option to keep the car. Need something from the car? Just hop on the elevator and you are down there in seconds. (Mind that the garage fee is 10 Euro per day. I cannot commend on the breakfest since I never had one but the staff was very helpful and I would definately recommend this hotel.

We stayed for the last four days of the season. Very quiet, we booked half board and were the only people eating in the evening. Our meals we adequate. Both our cooked breakfast and dinner were served up barely warm. As soon as your evening meal was over, the bar was closed and the staff left.

50 yards from the beach, which is perfect for the times you want to relax. However it's very quiet so not as perfect if you want buzzing nightlife! Ideal getaway type holiday.

Nice little place. More family orientated. Close to the beach but couldn't see it from our room. A little hard to find. Shower water went everywhere and toilet seat was broken in our room. All stairs no elevator but they helped us with bags. Lovely people, helpful and restaraunt food was great and reasonably priced

Frankly speaking my general overview is average. Hotel is new and clean with nice view on the sea, also it is possible to park in the garage. Definitely these are positive sides. Unfortunately decoration and "insides" are cold and staff with owner are unfriendly, unpleasant and disrespectful. If I would have a choice I would not choose this please next time. And short message to the owner: please take this remarks to the heart because as I saw it is not only my opinion.

Our best holiday experiences: The hotel owner's wife by name Ivanika went beyond the call of duty. She was very friendly and always available when needing assistance. She Prepared breakfast before the breakfast set-time as our boat trip was very early in the morning. The hotel had great food and activities that were breath-taking. The staff members gave excellent customer service and made us feel very comfortable and welcome at all times. Our stay in the hotel was a memorable experience and exceeded our expectations by far. I would definitely recommend Villa MiraMar to everyone. It truly lives up to its standards of a 4* star hotel.
