I gave Liberty Suites a second chance in May 2026 after staying in October 2025 because I genuinely liked the location, the underground parking garage, and the ability to go directly from the garage to my floor without passing through the lobby. The privacy and convenience are excellent. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the experience was subpar for the price. Many of the same issues from my first visit were still present the second time. The Wi-Fi was unreliable & unusable: I used 15GB of my own paid int’l data because I kept disconnecting, & staff were unable or unwilling to offer any meaningful solution. We reported problems with the TV in our suite, but they were never addressed. The suite itself had cleanliness and maintenance concerns. The in-suite washing machine reeked of mold, and the oven would not get hotter than 250F during use. For an extended-stay property, these are not minor issues. Customer service was also inconsistent. Some staff members were fine, but one woman came across as dismissive & unhelpful when we requested assistance. The final straw was a power outage during our stay. While I understand that outages can happen, it ultimately led me to check out early. After dealing with poor internet, unresolved maintenance issues, and disappointing service, I no longer felt it was worth staying. The location and garage access are great, but they weren’t enough to outweigh the ongoing problems. Two stays were enough; I won’t be returning again.

Great front desk staff-let us check in a bit early, however terrible breakfast (they did warn us there wasnt much choice), housekeeping comes too early though. TVs in room could do with improvement, very blurry.

The breakfast is great! The rooms are spacious and clean! Good value for your money. Only downfall if you are tired, you have to go back downstairs to put the ticket in your car.

Good not great. Solid pick if you want to be away from the city, especially if you have a larger group.It's right in the middle of a shopping center so there's food and shops just steps away. We loved our balcony and 2nd bathroom! There was plenty of room but having a stove but needing to pay extra for dishes, silverware, etc ..is a bit inconvenient. They changed the linens daily but didn't empty the trash??

Stayed at this hotel for a concert at the Steven's Stadium. It was an easy trip to the venue from the stadium. Nice hotel with parking. Staff was helpful. Nice complimentary breakfast. I would stay here again.

The unit had a kitchenette, but plates and cutlery needed to be rented, which was odd. Parking, breakfast etc were good, room was fairly clean. The property needs more attention to communal touch point, touch pads, elevator walls etc. not the worst ive stayed in, or the best.

Liberty Suites Hotel in Thornhill Ontario just outside of Toronto is an unusual property — it’s housed in a high-rise office building, and finding the parking had me so frustrated that I was honestly ready to switch hotels altogether. But the moment I walked in, Dizza and Shirie at the front desk completely turned things around. Their warmth, genuine smiles, and exceptional service melted away all that stress instantly. They even upgraded my room without hesitation. I ended up coming back multiple times, and honestly, it was because of them. While not every staff member was equally accommodating, these two set the bar for what great hospitality looks like. If you're staying there, make sure to say hello to Dizza and Shirie, they are the reason this hotel stands out. It's now my go-to place whenever I'm in Thornhill. SK

Always a pleasure travelling to Toronto and staying at LS. Been doing this for years gone by and hopefully many more to come.

This hotel is using AI generated photos, what you see is definitely not what you get. The location was hard to find as it doesn’t resemble a hotel from the outside. My uber driver even came into the property lobby to make sure it was the correct place before leaving. The security guard advised that the hotel lobby was located on the 12th floor. I went up to the 12th floor and checked in at the front desk. It did not look anything like the pictures, but the staff were polite. I got my room key and went up to my room. The entire building was old and not well maintained. I opened the door to the hotel room and it smelled like cigarettes and mold. I felt so uncomfortable to the point where I checked out 10 minutes after I checked in and left the building ASAP-even though it was late at night. I checked into a well known chain hotel afterwards. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Especially for the price you pay, I wouldn’t stay here even if someone paid me to.
