The spa is quite nice but the bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom is super tiny in our room.

Far away from everything except the industrial port all around. If you just want to stay here and don't have your own ride it's great.Not a backpackers place by any stretch.

Room was a lot smaller than expected. Door closing was excessively loud

I was disappointed with the room in this property for I was given a single bed and a little spare bed that was not comfortable at all and when I asked they said you people booked but a single bed and a spare bed for 2 adults meanwhile that was not the case , so I will like to hear from you why this

Always a great experience coming here, from a warm welcome in the reception to free hot chocolate if you wish. Excellent breakfast and what looks like a really nice Spa area. Free parking, which is always worth considering when staying in a big city. Not close to central Gothenburg, butthat is by no means a negative, just a fact.

Turned up at Arken spar hotel with my wife and our little dog and received a very nice welcome. The lady at the reception was very friendly and made it clean that even the dog was most welcome and had even a little bag of did treats. It is not all hotels that allow the dog in the restaurant and all open common areas. Of course we have the dog on a leash and well under control at all times but having the possibility to have her with us all the time makes everybody much calmer and happier. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is large and nicely appointed. The rooms are finished to a high standard, with comfortable beds and a very nice shower. Despite the size of the hotel, we had no issues with noise or access to the restaurant. However, the key differentiator was the attitude of the staff. Our baggage was lost on our outbound journey and, for good measure, our return flights were cancelled without our consent or being informed. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in handling our bags (which arrived at the hotel after we had checked out) and confirmed that we could extend our stay if return flights were not forthcoming. They demonstrated a clear drive to providing customer service and their efforts were greatly appreciated by myself and my colleague. We will definitely use this hotel again - but will travel via a different airline.

The hotel spa is amazing, one of the best I've experienced. There must have been 10 saunas and lots more facilities. The rooms are very basic and mine was small but ok.

Perfect location for visiting the Volvo Museum and the Volvo manufacturing tour. Breakfast was fabulous as well as dinner in their restaurant. In need of update which starts June 2019. Know it has a great partial view but is surrounded by industrial park and shipping dock. Make time for 2 tiny hiking paths. The spa has many offerings including yoga classes.

The hotel was in a decent location for my purposes, but was under renovation, and elevators did not work. Room was clean but very small. Food was okay, but not great.
