It is so accessible from the train station and close to downtown. The walk to university campus through downtown was good, too. We had a great stay!

This hotel was once a prison. There might be an inside joke in making this into a hotel, but it is a pleasant place. Service was very good, from reception to check-out. Especially noteworthy was the breakfast—freshly baked breads and pastries were excellent. They had an amazing selection of teas and overall, a very pleasant start to the day.

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. There was wear and tear in the hotel, and the value for money was not there (200+ eur per room). Breakfast times are extremely crowded. Special coffee costs extra..

Solo was great. A short walk across a pedestrian bridge from the train station. Being in Scandinavia the standards are somewhat higher, but the Solo was very well accommodated, clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived late after an international flight and train ride from Helsinki. The receptionist created a key such that I could use the gym/sauna after hours and created a map with directions to a few local shops so I could pickup a few things I had forgotten.
