Very basic property but expensive for the amenities. Very well located. Staff was friendly but at checkout they didn't want to call a taxi for us. Room wasn't quiet, you can hear conversations from next rooms in the middle of the night. I will not stay again there. Many better places around.

The staff was very nice and attentive.

I love this place, the only disappointment was that they gave me a room of twin beds instead of one double. Everything else was awesome.

The property for what we wanted and expected was excellent, the surroundings were a little scary at first but once you were used to it, it felt safe, very well located.

The location and the cleanliness of the facility. The administration must instruct the employees to be more polite. One evening, when I entered the lobby with my sister and niece (who live in Madrid) to pick up a gift I brought for them, the person in charge of the night shift yelled to us in a very nasty way: "Two minutes!", as if I we were in a jail. My sister and niece were in shock.Humiliating treatment!

Nice little hostel. Very clean and quiet. People at reception suoer friendly and helpful about getting around.

Hostal Maria Luisa is the okay if you desperately need a room in Madrid Centro and only plan a short stay, like 1-2 nights.

I like I was close to everything

This is not the first time I have stayed at Hostal Maria Luisa and there are so many reasons why I return to the same place. Hostal Maria Luisa is central located, and I was amazed to see that the Hostal has been remodeled recently. All its staff is nice and friendly. Finally, the cost of your accommodation is a bargain. Please, make your reservation without hesitation, and enjoy your stay in Madrid without wondering where should you stay. in one of the most wonderful cities in the world!!!..

Bathroom super small with lot of mold in shower. Guest have not access to remote for AC/Heater. Volume for TV only 10. Guest cannot keep room key, but has to call person in charge.
