This is a fine old achool hotel, with large clean rooms, and a friendly staff. The reception rooms and bar are nice, but while we were, were totally overrun by a wedding party. The restaurant is okay. It is adjacent tobthe reception and the dinner is acceptable, but certainly not remarkable. Everything was a little overdone. The worst was the wedding, that had a performer signing full blast in the bar, and which was so loud the waiter could barely take our dinner order. It was extremely intrusive for all the other guests. The breakfast here is also very good. Suggest going to an outside restaurant if the hotel is booked out for a private event.

Some staff members were very pleasant and helpful others were mediocre. Dinner restaurant was not good for service. Like to recognize two employees . Annliya at front desk. she helped us in checking in and finding restaurants near by very helpful. Another one is Thilina Perera. She was managing the restaurant on 7th and went above and beyond his call of duty to accommodate us . We are in our 70+ and have issues with mobility and dis not wanted to go to city to eat, He helped a lot

The room was clean had what was needed only fault was that our room was so far out the way it did feel like we were in staff quarters . however the staff were very polite and nothing was to much trouble.the breakfast was very satisfying everything to choose from as much as you wanted very tasty.

Loved everything about The Ro. I have stayed before and will definately be back. Slight niggle..the breakfast choices and food excellent but the bacon was so hard I couldn't cut it up! Staff on the front desk were amazing. Very clean, upmarket but comfortable hotel. I will definately be back@

The Hotel was perfectly based for the lake. Plenty of parking on arrival. The staff were very friendly especially Fred. We sat outside and struggled to open an umbrella. Within 5 minutes a maintenance man appeared from nowhere and fixed the umbrella, really helpful. The rooms were modern with clean bathrooms.

Excellent location, the room view in the Biskey suite was incredible.

The hotel is ok but there are some important things to know before booking. Both parking and the swimming pool are an additional charge (£10 & £15 a day respectively) and, whilst the hotel is said to be family friendly, there is no children’s menu, the pool only allows children in it between 8 am and 11 am and there’s really nothing for children to do apart from the pool. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was good choice but cold and eggs were hard fried eggs dont work well on a buffet breakfast and bacon was over done and hard

Breakfast was ok but when items ran out they were slow to be replaced, never enough croissants always ran out.

Room had great views. Generally clean although the electric heater had accumulated lots of dust which was not good for me with dust allergies. Breakfast was good.

Location was ideal, staff were lovely really welcoming and helpful.
