The room was quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Free parking available. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We were able to walk along the river to the nearby village. The hotel is ideal as an alternative to airport hotels and for exploring northern Switzerland.

Liked it, recommend to put coffee maker, plus we expected the bowling was operating but it wasn’t.

Very nice riverside setting. Would recommend a walk down by the river but watch out for cyclists. Hotel was lovely and staff more than accommodating. Was disappointed that there was no coffee and tea making equipment in the room but also understand that this is a very british request. Also not enough information about the hotel facilities in the rooms, such as restaurant menus, bowling opening times etc (didn’t notice that the bowling alley was open at all throughout the week that we were there). Overall, we had a great week. Would suggest anyone wanting to dine in the restaurants over the weekend reserves a table as it is very popular. The food was great, especially from the Thai restaurant.

Lovely setting amongst forests and next to a pleasant river, with gentle walks. Wonderful Swiss food, the "Hot Stone" meats being the highlight, with the Steak Tartare running them close. I especially recommend to try the horse steaks. All Hot Stone meals are served with 3 sauces: BBQ, Cafe de Paris and Garlic. We asked them to skip the BBQ and provide extra Cafe de Paris, which they were happy to do. Wine list is excellent, though there was no Petite Arvine, which is my favourite Swiss grape. Wines of the month are superb and probably best value. Expect to pay around CHF 50 (GBP 42) for a bottle of wine, around CHF 9 (GBP 7.50) for a beer and CHF 31 (GBP 25) for Steak Tartare (main). There is also a Thai restaurant but we stuck with the main Swiss one. Room was comfortable, nicely air-conditioned, ample wardrobe space. Bathroom was a little disturbing. It is basically a large cubicle with a walk-in shower and a loo. Two of the walls are clear glass, with a curtain that does not completely enclose the glass sides, leaving the door section uncovered. This means that your fellow room guest will be walking past and see you on the throne in all your glory. The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. At one point, my wife accidentally threw a full pack of cigarettes into a closed waste bin and the overnight porter was happy to fish around to retrieve them. Indoor fumoir, so you can smoke in comfort in inclement weather. Awesome, female cat.

This hotel was an unexpected delight. We wanted a place close to Zurich airport that still felt like a vacation spot capturing Switzerland. We exited off the highway and drove down side roads and a dirt road. The hotel was nestled in a quiet spot by a river. The room was spacious and we were able to have drinks in a comfortable space outside. Close by was a bird sanctuary (they kindly lent us binoculars) and later in the day we went swimming in the Rhine at a local beach. It was a perfect end to our vacation.

We enjoyed our 1-night-stay at the Riverside. The room was super nice and I love the bathroom! The food was excellent, you should get the Risotto with Mascarpone - sooo good!

There are many negative issues with this hotel e.g. the bed is very hard, pillows are the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. They are so soft that they have no support at all. I see someone posted on trip advisor that he could not find the hotel without a GPS. It was hard to find the hotel even with a GPS (it would benefit to have a couple road signs. I mentioned that fact to them but I think they dont care as they had a few excuses), no coffee making facilities, air con not working very well or is controlled by hotel and some of the staff are unfriendly. The only positive is a very large modern room, good shower and it's quiet. I would not stay here again.

It hard to get to this place from the airport at night because not street light and the navigation direct you there it quite scary at night. This room is very unique design, coffe here was really good, friendly staffs very good customer service n very helpful staffs they help us to find the place to eat & help us look for places to visit the only thing they didn't mention about the closing time it really early at the mountain but it not their fault I just want to let the tourists know have to ask for the time when they closed . Definitely it a good hotel

The hotel was having a special event the night we stayed hosting TV cameras and local Swiss-style wrestling enthusiasts. They gave this event priority to overnight guests. Access to the bar and restaurant could only be obtained by going outside the building and re-entering through a door signed "Toilettes", not by crossing the lobby. Bathrooms are enclosed by glass walls with a curtain that does not cover the view of the toilet from the bathroom door which is situated between the clothes closet and the bedroom so that a second occupant of the room has full view of a toilet user defecating and cleaning themselves. Apparently some people think this is cool. It was disgusting to us. The hotel staff explained that the hotel is mostly used by single people attending seminars. The restaurant had an American theme and the food was good. Digestif orders were served in the wrong type of glasses with fernet branca being served in a cognac glass and cognac in a small wine glass. We picked this hotel as convenient for the airport but it is clearly intended for a younger set who want to use the bowling alley and gym etc.

This place is very nice, with modern rooms, almost brand new. There are no signs of wear and tear, so the hotel, must be very quiet usually. We think we were almost only guests in this nice 44 room hotel, as we were passing by to Zurich. Recommended to sleep, there is not much more to do.

We stayed here for 1 night in June. The hotel itself is nice and pleasant. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. There is a pleasant stream that runs by the hotel that is nice to walk along. The breakfast was adequate. A few minor issues though. The hotel is quite remote with no shops nearby. There is no privacy in the glass bathroom so non-couples, beware! And the hotel corridors are long and maze-like. Overall, a pleasant stay.
