A very restful night in a cosy bed and quiet room. Very peaceful location, 20 min walk into Ballina for lots of nice bars and restaurants. The leisure centre was small but very welcome after a day out hiking. Nice breakfast, didn’t have food in the bar but it looked nice too.

Lovely property but getting to rooms difficult and very small elevator. Asked for help with luggage and all he did was bring up trolley. We are 4 seniors. Dinner in hotel lovely but need more experienced help. She was only about 16 and couldn’t answer any questions nor figure out how to do two bills. A hotel of this quality needs better staff

We always feel at home in the Twin Trees - formerly the Downhill - and have been staying there for many years. It is good value for money, the staff are very friendly and helpful and it has a warm familiarity- the pool is a great bonus. We can make our own of it whilst we are there. Is the decor a little tired and dated? Yes. But it’s clean, welcoming and easy to relax in with lovely staff.

Lovely Hotel which met our needs. Sadly didn't have time to use the leisure activities. Had a full Breakfast both days. Slept well. Polite helpful staff.

On day 1 I flagged that the bath was leaking into the hall. Put down towels

Overall the hotel was tired and needed some work to bring it back to life. Staff just so lovely though.

We stayed in the Twin Trees Hotel on Sunday night after a gap of a few years. Happy to say there were some good improvements and the staff were very welcoming. The only downside was that the room was very hot during the night. Would consider this hotel again without hesitation.

It’s a comfortable, homely, friendly hotel where I’ve stayed many times. Room mix up aside, I enjoyed my stay.

Our room was clean. We did not have breakfast but we did eat in the bar, it was great.

Homely, comfortable if a tad dated. My room had been newly renovated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the rain shower had weak pressure. There was a bit of noise from children running around the corridors and playing at the rear of the hotel but it was otherwise peaceful and comfortable. The staff, without exception, were super friendly and helpful.

Hotel was lovely, room was upgraded, pool area ok, very helpful and pleasant staff at reception and night barman Only thing not good was the breakfast, it was cold

Had a great two night stay here - conveniently located to the south of town centre, but easy to find and ample parking. Room was really comfortable, and clean/modern bathroom. Could be a bit noisy in the corridor. Breakfast was a buffet, but offered a good range of hot items. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay here again.

It was terrible we jad to be moved3 time , this hotel was housing asylum seekers the kids were running up and downsteps were are 1st room was , then they moved us to anther room were the window was frosted up and when i opened the window well it was a degrace and there was a sell, they jad a plug in airfresher and it cot my husband chest he has be coughing , i complaint and yhen the hirl move us to a 3rd room , i paid £485 pound to stay in a hotel , were the are housing Asylum seeker , Its a degrace , this hotel shouldnot be open to public . I dont think i would ever book this place again and i dont thinlk hotel.com should have it on there list for public to stay .this is the photos of second room outside

Staff are very friendly, nothing was a bother to them, and the weather was brilliant

We enjoyed our stay at the Twin Trees Hotel. The only complaint is that the pool closed early for children under 18, which caused some disappointment for our daughter. We found out this is common in Ireland, and learned to adjust our schedule a bit if swimming at the hotel was an option.
