This was a "work" trip to visit the coffee farm and get information on importing green coffee. The cottages were very clean and equiped with everything you could need for your stay. The staff didn't speak any English which was a little bit of a barrier since we didn't speak Spanish, but with the help of google translate it worked. We had a tour of the farm from one of the owners who was very kind and informative. The food was good and staff was attentive. The spa was beautiful and relaxing, we had very nice massages, the pools were very clean, there was someone out there cleaning them every morning. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It is a little harder to get here, we used a taxi service who also had a driver that didn't speak english and wanted more money then was agreed upon, this was the only negative as we were just arriving, after a day of traveling and 2 hour drive to get here. The staff made sure we had dinner and delivered it to our room.

Mountain Views were incredible

Folks, be prepared for a trek. The signs in Tapachula are for the Ruta de Cafe, not Finca Hamburgo specifically. Get there and you will see a very different and unexpected place. Pleasant, exquisitely manicured yet all the rugged beauty one hopes for staying at a working coffee plantation. Take the tour! Cesar was informative, humorous, and enjoyable company. We had the plantation completely to ourselves and sank into the experience easily. One difficulty was that both of our phones did not connect well to the wifi. Mine couldn't connect at all. We happened to be staying during the Coronavirus outbreak, so getting regular updates proved difficult. The staff let us use their phones to call our consulate for updates. That being said, the timing for us to "get away" from it all could not have been more superb. If you choose to enjoy the spa you will have the finest view of your life of any massage you've ever received. This beats all other massages, including one on the beach of Isla Holbox, another faraway spot. Maria combined relaxation, deep tissue (steep hills in Chiapas!), and a unique energy work that demonstrated the attentive hands one seeks and rarely finds in bodywork. The coffee? Take some home! The "name brand" stuff, not the off label (You'll understand after the tour). Two words: French Press. Hospitality is on the ball. I mentioned my flattish pillow to my coffee tour guide and minutes later housekeeping arrived with a fluffy pillow. A truly special experience.

Everything was great, I loved the location, customer service, and food. Newer mattresses would have made our trip perfect.

I recommend this place, This place is like heaven, the paradise in earth. All the employees are awesome, my mom and me felt like queens. I will return again with my husband this time.

The accommodations are very nice, but the view is spectacular! I enjoyed all the food at the restaurant and as expected they provided a number of different preparations for the coffee. Great experience altogether.

Maravillosa es un lugar hermoso, fuera de lo Comun y literal a media cuadra del cielo, el atardecer es bellisimo!!

La llegada no es nada sencilla, la carretera es fatal. Si vas tienes que viajar de día ya que es únicamente terracería, en cuanto a aprecio y calidad está sobrevaluada, la comida no es la mejor el personal trata de hacer su mejor esfuerzo es un lugar caro

El lugar es increíble. Nos tocó un cuarto que no estaba demasiado limpio pero en general está muy bien.

¿Quieres una vista espectacular de paisajes? Necesitas visitar Finca Hamburgo. Incansable mirar los alrededores. Amable atención; estupendas cabañas para descansar (quizá un poco de riesgo que en una misma área se junten tres habitaciones, por tema de ruido), excelente opción ocuparlas entre familia y amigos. Buena experiencia cerca de la naturaleza.
