The lift from the ground floor was not working If you walked up 2 flights of stairs then it worked to take you to the 4th floor. As it is on a pedestrians zone, it is noisy until 5am, even weekdays.

No clear instructions. Service was not bad but not good. The room was clean. Standard room. Nothing special. Great location.

It was a central location to everything that we needed to get to in Madrid. The hostel didn't have AC but a fan kept us comfortable throughout the day and night.

Amazing location, right in the heart of the action. Entire shopping district, good amount of restaurants in the vicinity. Room is small but that is expected of a hostel, bathroom is clean. Had a single stand fan, not much helpful in summer when it gets very hot. TV and internet is good.

It was very clean and comfortable. The lack of air-conditioning was a bit of an issue as there was a heat wave in Madrid at the time, but the fan helped me get a good night's sleep. The staff was very friendly and even let me use their computer to book my next flight as mine had just broken down. Chueca is a very lively area with lots of restaurants and shops, and all of central Madrid is within walking distance. Definitely a good place to stay if one is looking for clean, central, affordable, no-frills accommodation.
