We recently had our wedding in the area, and this was the hotel our venue recommended for our guests and us. While this review isn't positive about the actual hotel itself, I do want to say that the staff was amazing and very helpful during check-in. There is hardly any parking by the actual hotel wing. Most of the property is a converted motel that was poorly lit and felt archaic. My groomsmen stayed in my room with me on Friday night. One of them slept on the pull-out sofa, which was broken when we opened it. The left bolt that attached the pull-out bed to the couch frame was missing, so the bed wasn't secured at all. The bathroom was filled with visible mold, especially around the shower/tub. The rest of the room also showed signs of water damage and mold. On Saturday night, my wife stayed in the room and was understandably not thrilled with everything outlined above. If our wedding weekend hadn't been so busy and chaotic, I would have addressed these issues with the hotel while we were there. Unfortunately, we weren't at the hotel long enough to deal with it, so I'm mentioning it here for any future travelers.

We were greeted late in the evening by a very well mannered and professional front desk and then led to a spacious comfortable room! Lovely start!

First of all, we arrived at 802pm and after numerous phone calls to locate the receptionist, he(nick) finally showed up. Nick was giving me attitude when trying to ask questions. The room he provided was on the top floor with lots of noise. The pool was adjacent to the room too. Slamming doors and regular traffic was enough to cut our stay very short. Another issue is when booking is done on line, paid in full, not happy having to redo the reservation at the front desk. We've been here few times, definitely won't be our first choice in the future.

Staff was great. The Gator BBQ is a nice addition to the hotel. The room itself wasn’t particularly clean. The hotel needs a major upgrade.

Room had 2 windows and the east side should've have had blackout curtains

The only issue I had was figuring out the main entrance to the hotel other than it was great check in was easy friend restaurant Att I had good food great staff and reasonable pricing

My experience was not pleasant, and if possible, I would like to request a refund, as I have been feeling unwell after spending two nights at this property. To begin with, the room I was assigned had a noticeable damp smell. I raised this concern with staff, but the alternative room I was shown appeared older and less appealing, so I decided to stay in the original room. The odor was strong enough that I had to spray my perfume around the room just to make it tolerable. Having arrived tired from my trip, I did not inspect the room thoroughly at that time. The following day, I spent most of my time at Turkey Point and returned exhausted. On the morning of checkout, as I was not feeling well, I took a closer look around the room and was shocked to discover spiders, mosquitoes, cobwebs, and what appeared to be spider eggs. I was extremely disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, especially considering that housekeeping serviced it on the second day and still missed these issues entirely. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention from the start. A damp room naturally creates conditions that attract insects and other pests, which appears to have been the case here. I genuinely feel that I deserve a refund. I booked this accommodation through Hotels.com, and one of the main reasons I felt comfortable proceeding with the reservation was that it was a Best Western property. I have stayed at several Best Western hotels in the past and have generally had positive experiences,

I couldn’t get the tv to go to just regular channels. There needs to be an explanation as to how it works so that people like me who are technologically challenged can use it. It also said to get in touch with front desk if any issues but there is nothing on the phone to let you do that so you have to get dressed and actually go to the front desk

Unlike advertised, the breakfast is NOT free unless you stay for two days or longer. Very much missled there.

Rooms are clean and spacious, water supply at taps and shower were excellent. Great restaurant on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff did not have supplies (toiletries) to help with unplanned stay Tub shower old and shower head clamp stuck up. Unable to push it down to have water fill tub to wash my feet Breakfast not included in price. Bed was comfortable at least and did not find any bed bugs

3rd and last time I’m writing this! Everything good considering old building, difficult to soundproof. Very clean except couch stained, dirty need new. All else good.

When yo have a group renting 15-20 rooms, Best Western should have given the banquet room for a reduced rate for that group. But because they didn’t our group discussed it and probably won’t book the rooms again for the next function.

Very dated and my room had nothing and there was mold.

It was fine. Basic. Room a bit dated. Staff helpful. Restaurant menu very limited for a vegan/vegetarian.

Easy check-in with very helpful staff with information of property amenities. Our room was very clean, the restaurant on site offered a varied menu, served hot and good. Staff was also very pleasant and helpful.
