Close to Main Street

A cost effective, close to city centre and train station. Plenty of parking, very clean and convenient to most of Broken Hills attractions

The place was decent, but as motels and hotels move increasingly to having guests check in by methods other than a normal reception desk, I found this place to have the next best method to a traditional check-in and ask for any assistance. People should book to stay to find out!

Amazing property Will stay here every time we are in broken hill for work

It was a comfortable overnight motel stay conveniently located very close to the centre of town. Everything worked well - aircon, fridge, shower, and the basin was in a separate room to the toilet and shower, which was good.

The Argent was very comfortable, clean and a great location for walking down the main street for dinner. Very helpful staff, definitely stay there again.

Hotel was fine for the cost but the bed was way too soft and the room is very tired looking. Bathroom was very clean but there were cobwebs on the light and windows.

Stayed at different hotels in the area, based on price, cleanliness, location, big tv with plenty of channels to choose from, comfortable bed, good sized room etc will make this my first preference when staying in town.

The security chain was missing from the door and the door could not be secured with the fitted lock. Room numbers confusing but eventually sorted. Bed uncomfortable, shower OK. We got we paid for...enough said.

This motel has an excellent location in the middle of Broken Hill, close to shops, restaurants, takeaways etc. It is on one level, with most parking outside the units, which makes it good for older people or those with mobility issues, who don’t want to climb stairs. Facilities were comfortable, with a good shower and comfortable chairs. Keys were available contact free outside the office, probably a COVID precaution, so I didn’t speak to staff. The only drawback was traffic noise, and a strange continuous noise about 5 am, which seemed to come from a nearby room.
