Can highly recommend this hotel. The whole town was without power for days after the storms and fortunately this hotel had a generator. It was worth paying a little extra for the honeymoon suite to have a bath, balcony with great views and extra space. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant “Adi’s Kitchen “ each day. There was a terrific variety of food to select from- all great quality and value. Service at the hotel was great. Anthea at reception was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable

Slightly dated in areas like the bathroom but overall we really enjoyed our stay. We had parking, it was in a great location, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. It was a good stay for the whole family. We had breakfast and dinner there which were both enjoyable. Overall we would recommend.

Room was lovely with a great view. Staff were friendly and welcoming and food in the restaurant was great. Tip would be book the restaurant in advance as it was really busy and we were unable to get a table for dinner.

The rooms were spotless and the staff so friendly helpful and came across as they enjoyed there work . We would come back anytime . Maybe in a few years we will do a longer sray . Highly recommend . Its very central to all the bads and restarunt and also very conveint for the tour bus that takes ypu sight seeing up to table mountain and back down again really enjoyed that too . We were very happy .

Very nicely decorated and maintained in great central location with views over Plettenberg Bay. Rooms very comfortable with excellent breakfast.

This hotel did not have card locks it still used keys. the safe was not working properly. i had to use a key instead of a code. my door was left unlocked after it was cleaned.

Beautiful hotel in a central location with a wonderful restaurant. Staff was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bayview.

Friendly and helpful service. Bathrooms are very old and outdated, weird mix with the refurbed rooms.

Very covid considerate, you get your own bag of toilet paper and tea, which wasnt in my room so i had to go look for it at reception. Breakfast was served at the cafe across the road, and only opened at 8, but i was told it would open at 7 30 at check in, so disappointed i had to go without due to timing.

Very clean bright and simple hotel. Breakfast could be better but the restaurant for dinner was very good with best tempura prawns I have ever had.

Rooms clean and bed comfortable. Central location. We didn’t pre book breakfast but did have breakfast ordered off the menu, not the buffet and it was very nice and good value

We had a “delux room”, which meant newly renovated. Very nice, bright, clean and modern. Room only had two small widows high up, and no air conditioning. The room was hot at night. A strong fan in the room did help. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is located right in the down town - great access to everything. Good parking. All in all, a very good experience.
