I hated this place. Felt like a prison. Rough small towels. The floor was still wet in the bathroom and they left the dirty pillowcases from the last guests on the floor. Robot check in where everyone in line behind us could see the code to our room.

No frills, basic but functional hotel not too far from center of Beaune. Automatic check in works fine and free parking is always welcome.

Good value hotel with parking. Helpful staff. Short walk to the centre of town, though there are some sights between the hotel and the centre.

Not so good. I arrived at 4.30 and it was computerised entry. It wanted me to pay again for entry. I had to wait until 5pm plus before I could enter. I was tired after a long drive from Pas de Calais so was not happy. The manager was delightful and if not for him I thi k it would have been a disaster.

We arrived late but easily accessed the hotel by security code. Hotel has secure parking, is very clean and the 'all you can eat' breakfast is excellent including bacon and scrambled egg!

Bedclothes smelt musty and bathroom had not been properly cleaned. Breakfast is standard and normally includes bacon as an option as well as wholemeal type of bread. Both of these were absent at Beaune B & B. Unfortunately as a result I will look for a different hotel next visit

I did not expect luxury, but the problem was the location, a 20 min walk home alone in the dark from the town centre, as there are no taxis in the evening in Beaune. that should be clear in the information given.

Bed comfort & bathroom facilities were better than expected. Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurants nearby. Ideal to break the road journey through France.

I have given the hotel an unsatisfactory evaluation on "Cleanliness" due to permitting people to smoke just outside the front door to the hotel and not requiring the smokers to move away and dispose of their cigarette butts in the appropriate containers which should be located far away from the doors and windows of the hotel. Smoking is a disgusting habit made worse by inconsiderate smokers who are near doors and windows that bring the smoke inside the facility. The hotel has a responsibility to all of its guests to provide a clean and friendly atmosphere free from noxious and harmful smoke. In all other respects, the hotel 's cleanliness was satisfactory.

Beaune is a great place to visit, but the hotels can be pricey. B&B Hotel Beaune Sud 2 is a good budget alternative, especially if you have a car since it is a bit of a walk to the town center. My room here was similar to and as good as ones at Ibis where I've stayed before at a higher price. Also, the manager of this hotel is very very nice!

The only negative things are that it is quite close to the trainline, so there is some noise as a result and, the breakfast room is small and choice was limited.

The hotel was within a nice walk to a supermarket, ATM and the quaint old centre of town where there is lots to see. The hotel itself was great for a place to sleep but lacked any flair or warmth of atmosphere. The service staff were friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast was available too.

Short walk to Beaune city center, no noise in the night

Definitely designed with economy of space in mind. Convenient to highway and to the local Carrefour grocery store, and also to Beaune.

Fire exit door open at all times for entry & exit outside our room- noisy and surely making the hotel insecure to guests who have to input code for entry via main door. Mattress soiled and had no mattress protected. Duvets were too small for the width of bed.

It was okay. Comfortable bed. But the shower nearly flooded the room. But everything thing else was okay.
