The layout of the restaurant room was a bit awkward, but the ocean view and the in-room hot springs are excellent! Only issue was that communication with staff. English does not seem to be well understood when we tried to reach the front desk. But overall we enjoyed the hotel well!

Well located by the bay of Beppu.

The view of the suite is perfect. The indoor onsen, half outdoor pool and jacuzzi are gorgeous. Even though it was raining so heavy, we still enjoyed the stay a lot

If you want to stay in a spacious, clean, well maintained room with your own onsen overlooking the ocean, Amane Resort is your top choice. If I return to Beepu, I know where to stay. PS the included breakfast is icing on the cake; it was delicious & full of options

Very clean rooms with a lot of space.

Clean, big, comfortable rooms with fantastic sea view. Staff service is good too. Limited eating options nearby though

We had a very roomy suite for 3 of us. The suite was old but very nice with its own hot bath. Their breakfast was very nice too.

The amenities and the location. The room and the view were great and would to stay there again

When we checked in, I handed the information to the front desk as the reservation was under my name, we were told to wait in the lobby and someone would come to us and explain everything such as where the breakfast and the public bath were located at, one of the male front desk returned the passports to my husband instead of me, and he started explaining everything to my husband only and ignored my daughter and I while we were sitting together, I was confused then I realised that because of we are female so he doesn’t talk to us? This is very rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter especially when the reservation is under my name. Other than that everything was great, the sea views from the room and the in room open air onsen was incredible as well as the public bath, we enjoyed our stay. It would have been perfect if my daughter and I were treated respectfully while checking in.

Nice ocean view with in room hot spring. Dinner and breakfast food quality is average at best. Far away from downtown and JR station. Not convenient without a car.

The hotel and rooms have been renovated. A wonderful stay!

Delicious morning breakfast buffet ( both Japanese & Western).

The room was amazing, can see sun rise from the balcony.They were very thoughtful in providing for all that we need. Breakfast options were great but could consider varying some menu items on a day to day basis

Beautiful resort, ocean views with onsen tub. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. Breakfast is excellent with both Japanese and Western choices. Great, helpful staff

Room was amazing with the view of the ocean. Staff is especially great with detailed walkthrough of the property and facilities and speaks great english. I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I hope the western breakfast combinations would be better in the future. The western options are kinda awkward and doesn't pair well (eg. eggs benedict with sausage/nuggets and no hashes). However, the Japanese variant is great
