Excellent food and service

The room and toilet were spacious which made our stay very comfortable. It only has one dining option which seems to be frequented by locals as well. The area is very peaceful and well maintained. The only con is that there isn't a lift in the property which can be challenging for someone who can't really climb stairs.

Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a very nice ensuite. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice room, clean and tidy, mattress was a little bit soft but other than that superb. Arrival chocolates was a nice touch too. Food was amazing and good selection of beers available.

Excellent value for money, the room was lovely with a great view. A little welcome present as well. The food was fantastic, had the roast they do, very nice! Staff were all very polite and helpful, definitely recommend, half way between Windermere and Kendal, so a great location.

Fantastic hotel, excellent service and good choice of food. Very popular with walkers and do friendly too. Recommended and I would definitely stay here again.
