I got a neat, tidy and clean room for my visit. The location of the hotel is great too, most of the famous food stall is all walking distance from the hotel.

Worth for the money. Breakfast was simple and nice. Spacious room and free drink water. Beds are very neat and clean.

The location isn't far away from Kontar; the room is really cozy and clean. I really love the ambience of the hostel, very quiet and we sleep well. The host is really helpful and serves really good breakfast everyday. If I visit Penang again next time, I would love to stay again in Magpie Residence.

The service is a top-notch class, from the front office to the manager. They are very friendly. The location is within walking distance to the eateries. The dorms look very clean. And it's far from the noisy area. This place is really good to take a rest after a long day walking around Georgetown. I am always back here whenever I'm around Georgetown due to the fact Magpie is a worthy place to be for a short vacation.
