Best hotel in Aalst. Handsdown. Booking here again next time when I am here. Rooms are spacious and amazing.

The 3* "Royal" at this hotel does not reflect the value. The room and the whole experience did not live up to it at all. We had a tiny room. Every sound, both inside and outside, is audible. Breakfast was "okay" with terrible coffee. The hotel is close to the city centre - but next time I'll look for the next one not far away.

Nightmare of the hotel. Everything very old, heating not working, no sound proofing between the rooms, alarm was waking up the whole hotel guests at 5.30 am with no reason, small room as in the hostel, the pipes in the room are noisy that you can not sleep. When I came to the room, all the heating was turned off and also when I opened the radiators they were not working. Bed very small and uncomfortable. Not recommending at all!

Every once in a while we get remembered. That we humans have a shared connection. Something that bonds us and makes us happy. Not just for role play or context, but for who we are. For who you are, as a person. That is the feeling you'll get in this hotel. From the authentic man at the reception, the creative way you can dine, the honest manner in how you consume alcohol to the beautiful relaxation in the lounge or the amazement on your face when you witness the finishing touch of your hotel room. That feeling comes together in one nice picture when you meet the greeting couple, chef and receptionist, a talented couple that has a lot to give you. The only improvement I can think of was the little booklet, very creative and aesthetically sound, it's just that the history was so valuable to read that the 42% became a bit too funny ;-) Salutations and thanks again for such a warm reception!

Nice hotel, nice staff, nice breakfast. Only issue was internet connection, it didn't work for almost 2 days. They couldn't find a reason, and gave me access to internal network. From IT security point of view not a good idea, if they do it more often be careful with the network, as some "surprises" may be already there waiting for you.
