Hotel is awesome and cleaning staff was top notch. Rooms were nice and front desk staff was super helpful. The area is a little shady with lots of homeless and drug addicts nearby. Didn’t feel unsafe for me but you are definitely reminded that you are 200m from the central train station. Their underground parking was excellent and safe for my rental car.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt! Das Hotel ist wunderschön, sauber und ein Traum drinnen zu schlafen! Das Hotel ist perfekt und das Personal super! Einzig negativ ist die Gegend um das Hotel. Da kommt man sich vor wie in einem afrikanischen/orientalischen Ghetto. Ich würde dennoch immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank!

Good value

Amazing hotel for the price. Bed was comfortable. Bath was not properly guarded so water spilled into other areas. Location is not too far from the train station.

I'm staying in this hotel every time I visit Hamburg, very friendly staff. But unfortunately the good Hotel is let down by the area around the property (some streets around it feel unsafe and look dirty).

Close to central train station. Turkish market and restaurants near by. Hotel is clean, cosy and well managed. Location is busy and some homeless around.

Good hotel, great reception staff, great Nespresso machine. Very clean. What let it down was the area the hotel is in, it didn’t feel safe at night.

The hotel location is perfect because it is close to the main station and everything is really close, The room was clean.

The Stay! Boardinghouse Hotel was not too bad for the price and location being near the main train station. The worst part of it was arriving in the middle of the night and having to walk through a bit of sketchy part of town, but no one bothered us as we powerwalked with our backpacks - there may or may not have been a group of people freebasing in front of one of the closed stores. There was a lot of noise outside our window at night, but with ear plugs and a sound machine app, it drowned out most of the yelling and honking. The bed was a little hard, but the convenience of being a 5-7 minute walk from the main train station was worth it. Also, the breakfast buffet was extensive, although a few of the foods offered were a bit strange for breakfast. Lots of dips of various sorts. Plenty of things to choose from, so it wasn’t a problem finding things to eat.

Genuinely friendly and helpful staff who ensure you have a very pleasant stay. Hi five to Lars for being so hospitable. The cleanliness was top notch. Conveniently located. Neighborhood loud and sketchy, but did not feel dangerous. The hotel is a nice refuge among the chaos outside. Would definitely return!

Best hotel in the area

The hotel itself is excellent. Good for transport links and central location to see sights. Quite a poor area with many drug addicts but didn’t feel unsafe.

The room was spacious, & hotel is close to the central station. I found the staff a little rude, as I wasnt informed that the hotel has a strict check out at 11am morning. Unfortunately one of my meetings ran till 11 & I was asked to leave the room asap

The area around the Hotel is terrible and not safe for tourists, watch out. The breakfast was turkish and fresh but not in our taste but i think its good if you are in to that kind of food. The room was nice and clean, Easy parking in garage under the hotel.
