Extremely friendly staff and amazing location. Right I. The heart of Lisbon

The location of the property is excellent and undoubtedly its biggest advantage, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. However, the building itself is quite old and shows its age in several ways. There is a noticeable odour throughout the property, and guests should be aware that there is no elevator access from the ground level, requiring stairs to reach the first floor before elevator service is available. The room was spacious and offered plenty of space to move around, but cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The flooring had visible stains and a strong lingering odour that affected the overall comfort of the stay. Sound insulation was also a concern, as footsteps and movement from guests staying in the room above were clearly audible, making it difficult to fully relax at times. Overall, the property is suitable for travelers who prioritize location and simply need a basic place to sleep, but those seeking a more comfortable, modern, and quiet accommodation may find it lacking.

Perfect location in the center of everything you will want to do in the area. Plus the reception’s customer service was amazing. If I return Lisbon this is exactly where I will be staying. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality! Xoxo

Our booking was Saturday morning to Monday morning.  Location was excellent. Two girls at lobby, Lorraina and Bertha were very helpful. Helped with the baggage too.  Steps before you reach the elevatorRoom was for 3, so it had two twin beds together and another one separate.  There was enough linen for the beds and extra pillows in the closet too.  What was not good: Ice piled up in fridge and no door on the freezer section. Towels with holes and frayed edges No coffee or tea in the room, but have a kettle and coffee machine.  When I asked for coffee Sunday morning, I was told the manager isn't here till Monday, so they would't be able to arrange for it.  Room just did not seem the size it was advertised. 242 sq fot. Booked through Expedia so don't know if this was thanks for Expedia or not.  No space to put anything down in bathroom and  kitchen area super crowded.  Seemed like they tried to crowd in as much as possible just to say it was there (microwave, sink, stovetop, toaster), but it left no space to even set down a plate, unless it was on the stovetop.literally two cups, two plates. Its biggest saving grace was its location. Super. The cafeteria next door (next door literally) was awesome and inexpensive.

The property is very well-located for easily feeling at home in the Baixia neighborhood, and was quiet at night. Lorena in reception was more than helpful. My only criticism is that there is no signage for the property, and it’s not immediately clear how to ring reception for entry.

The property is in need of upkeep. Things are broken and damaged. Chipped paint, damaged furniture and wall hooks fallen off the wall. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Towels were clean but worn. That said, the sheets were clean and beds comfortable. The location is great.

Good old town location, but it was difficult to find. Could do with a sign on the front door. I know they have just opened a new reception, but even a temporary sign would have been helpful. First time in Lisbon, and it was great. Throughly enjoyable. Transport took a while to familiarise with, but drivers were all helpful even though they didnt speak English. Unfortunately, I don't speak Portuguese either, so it was a challenge at times, but we managed. 😁 Lisbon in the sunshine is a delightful place to behold.

Creaky floorboards. Could hear voices from other rooms.location was excellent, bed comfortable, room very clean. No freezer compartment in fridge.

The good: Good location in easy walking distance to everything and plenty of restaurants/bars/cafes around. Small kitchenette has everything other than scissors that you would want but didn’t use it. Comfortable bed, good size, nice small balcony. Very friendly receptionist. The not so good: It was far more basic than the pictures suggested. I would say they are very innacurate. Bathroom smelt bad. Minimal hot water despite mentioning it and the loose fittings in the shower, it didn’t seem to improve nor was the fitting addressed. Enough hot water for one 5 minute shower, then it starts to get cool. No complimentary tea/coffee which would have been a nice touch.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. • Hygiene: There were cockroaches in the room—we killed three ourselves. • Room Condition: All three lamps in the room were broken. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay until we complained, and while towels were changed every other day, dirty ones were left in the room. • Safety: Several electrical outlets were missing covers, exposing live wires—an extremely dangerous situation, especially since we had a toddler with us. We stayed only because we couldn’t find another place. Honestly, sleeping on the street might have been cleaner and safer. Despite raising these concerns with the hotel directly, we received nothing but poor excuses and no real resolution. Avoid this place at all costs.

I think more and better quality photos of the property would have been better. The room was fine and the beds / pillows were very comfortable. The problem was the bathroom which had a sewage smell during our entire stay. If the bathroom door was left open the entire unit would smell. This was a deal breaker for us and I do not plan to return. Friends who stayed in a unit on another floor also had the same bathroom sewage smell (same dates). The shower stall looked dated and the fixture was semi-broken. If the bathroom shower stall / fixtures were repaired and the smell was dealt with then this would be 5 star property. I do have to say that the ladies at the reception were excellent to deal with.

Great Location. Very clean and comfortable. Small kitchen area. Large bathroom. Air con. Metro station just a short walk away.

Well check in time was 1400 hours, but they were still cleaning the room. So they said that we could go and sit on the sofa while the cleaner was finishing. There was no sofa so we waited for 30 minutes. The bathroom was cleanish but had a bit of mildew on the ceiling, the shower holder was broken the shower doors had not been cleaned in a while. The kitchen/living area wasn’t practical unable to use hob and sink correctly due to it being crammed into a small area. As well as chipped and cracked crockery. Very little communication from staff almost had to force some information out of them. Should have had a sofa instead we had 2 single beds which they said were an upgrade. The people upstairs were like a small herd of elephants, I realise this can’t be helped. The location was good and accessible to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions that is about the only positive thing about it. I would recommend it for one night only.

Good location, cheap hard bed, not enough towels. Would recommend, value for money however, I would not stay there again.
