I had a fantastic stay at Bearsleys Downtown Apartments! The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and modern, with a sleek yet cozy design that made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had fantastic water pressure, making for a truly relaxing experience. The location couldn’t be better—just a 10-minute straight walk to Old Town, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful stay. The central setting meant everything was within reach, from great restaurants to key sights. Overall, I would 100% stay here again if I return to Riga. Highly recommend!

Fabulous stay in lovely downtown apartment Everything had been thought of. Liked the extra touches - tea coffee etc. Receptionist was amazing in organising taxi transfers to and from airport. Located in beautiful old building and so convenient for everything in Riga. Could recommend to everyone.

Very nice well kept, clean apartment in Downtown Riga. A quiet area with a short walk to the Old Town. A mini supermarket just around the corner. Management very helpful. A very pleasant place to stay in Riga. The Architecture of the city is well worth a visit.

Well located in a not too busy street a short walk from the old town. Lifts are a real bonus in a delightful building. Well appointed. Service levels of high quality; very easy check in. Safe area.

The apartment is very spacious for a 2 bedroom and can accommodate 6 people very comfortably. The location is very good too. It has 1 bathroom and another toilet. We think it would be good to have have another bathroom with shower. The staffs Leva and Ilze were very helpful and accomodating. They helped us arranged transport to and from airport and also to Jumala.

Great location with beautiful, spacious rooms. The hotel is going through a major refurb at the moment, so it looks like a building site. The apartments did let us know beforehand and were very honest. If you take this out of the equation the apartments are perfect. Beautifully presented and great condition. The centre is a 15 minute walk and there’s easy access to all modes of transport. With a lovely pub and restaurant over the road, it really is in a great location.

Lovely spaceous apartment. Great location for getting to Old Town or venturing further afield (car park is around the corner fom the apartments). Only reason I’ve scored cleanliness a 4 is ‘cos of building works generating dust. Once works are complete, it’ll be full marks across the board!

They were renovating this old heritage building while I was there but it didn't bother me as I was upgraded to a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor. The location is fantastic as it is in quite a nice area with many shops close buy and Riga's Old Town is an easy 10-15 minute stroll. I arrived by bus from Tallin and the Central bus station is also an easy 25 minute walk to the apartments. My room had a washing machine which really came in handy and the ladies in the reception were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The free WIFI was also excellent. Just be aware they don't have a 24 hour reception so you need to let them know if you are checking in after 7pm.

This is a great apartment: renovated, modern, well appointed, clean, airy, with lots of windows and light. WiFi strong and stable. Staff is very nice and responsive. The location is pretty good, in the Center neighborhood of Riga but actually not too far from the Old Town, a leisurely 15 minute walk. There is a supermarket in the Galleria 2-3 blocks away. Don’t miss the outdoor terrace on the 8th floor. The neighborhood is a treasure trove of Art Nouveau architectural façades, so don’t forget to look up. On the not-so-great side: No air conditioning, which is the norm, only an issue on the rare occasions when Riga experiences a heatwave, like this July 2018 - quite unusual. They will provide you with a fan if requested. Also there is massive renovation going on so there is noise during the day, when you’re probably out and about sightseeing, some extra dust (they offer to clean often if needed) - but this is temporary and they will honestly warn you about it. Overall a great choice.

Even though there was construction going on, it didn’t impede us in any way. The apartment was spacious, clean, had great cooking utensils and was very easy to find. Sadly, we were waiting for lost luggage from a previous leg of our trip and the apartment manager went out of their way to call the airport and translate all details for us into English and vice versa. It was an amazing stay in an amazing city. I would recommend Bearsleys to anyone.

Originally we (husband and I) were going to stay in the downtown apartments but were moved to the Bearsley Blacksmith suites due to my mobility issues and a wish to be closer to the old town. Staff were excellent in arranging this prior to our arrival. The apartment was quiet, clean, modern, spacious with good storage for our clothes. A laundry in the basement was available at no cost complete with free laundry detergent. The bed was a little too firm, but we got used to it and would return to the Bearsley apartments / suites in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Can’t wait to go back everything about this place it’s exellent. Stayed there 10 days with family( wife and 2 kids 7-3yrs) Leva the front desk I can’t tell enough of this girl! Nice, profesional, humble, helpful..Ilze same nice, smiling amazing! Will definitely be back to Riga and Barsleys love it!!!!! There was a lot of building work going on during our stay. Some times this this was a little inconvenient but this was explained to us before hand. The staff are exceptional and fully explained the reasons for the work. Our next trip to Riga will without doubt, involve a stay at these apartments. The area is perfect, the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond their duties. We will wait until the refurbishment of this wonderful building is complete but a return to these fantastic apartments is a must.

We had a great stay at Bearsleys Apartments this past week. We travel to Latvia regularly, and will now stay exclusively at Bersleys. The apartment was very large, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. It wasn't one of the fancier / recently renovated apartments as pictured in the listing, but was still exceedingly nice. The bed was king-sized (which is very important to me and my husband!) The location cannot be beat. You are only two blocks from Stabu Street with a number of cute restaurants and bars. There is a coffee shop directly across from the front door. And you are within walking distance to all of the museums and the city center. There is keyless entry (via a number code) and then you access the keys to your apartment via a lockbox. It made it very convenient for our late night arrival and early morning departure!

The apartment staff were contactable by text and very helpful to my questions in advance of my stay. The apartment is perfect with a huge open plan kitchen and dining table and all things you need to make tea etc. No problems with the location and arrangement. Glad I found this place to stay during my first time in Riga. I liked the extra touches like umbrellas and slippers left for us which was very practical and considerate. Thank you.
