Beautiful place and people

This mountain resort is in a beautiful area conveniently located near Los Pueblos Mágicos of Hidalgo. We stayed in the basic room as the others were quite expensive and the room was very basic. No AC and the only ventilation is the windows. The area houses ducks and chickens as well as other forest animals and can get quite noisy early in the AM. They have several pools with one being exceptionally warm and comfortable. They have an amazing Tobogán or super long enclosed pool slide which was awesome and a Tirolsea (zip line) which we did not use. The restaurant was good and reasonable. When we arrived there was almost nobody there and the next afternoon a few bus loads of kids arrived and the place turned into a zoo for the afternoon. Good thing we got our swim in early. No washcloths were available and the maid took my extra floormats that I requested. Super friendly staff. Be aware, the town nearby closed down early on weekdays including restaurants. We were forced to eat at the resort's restaurant and it turned out to be pretty darn good.

El servicio y amabilidad del personal es excelente, sin embargo la calidad de habitaciones e instalaciones están a mi parecer descuidadas, el wifi no funciona correctamente, no todas las albercas funcionan, hay un máximo de 6 canales en la TV por cable. Mi reciente estancia cambió mi perspectiva en la relación del costo-beneficio, posiblemente se deba a que la situación del 2020 les ha pegado considerablemente, espero pronto puedan recuperar el estándar que venían manejando.

9 DE NOV 2019 En el restaurante, 8PM, 12º, nos dicen a 2 niños y a mi, salgan del restaurante, aqui adentro no, afuera en la terraza... cuando la mitad del restaurante está vacío. Voy con el Gerente en turno Javier Vázquez, y su comentario menos afortunado que el del mesero: Me dice: El mesero no tienen visión, su respuesta: Si quiere cancelar su reservación puede hacerlo, pero no devolvemos el dinero.... El espera que ya para las 8:30 PM, salga a buscar hotel cuando ellos tienen mi dinero, Esa es una gran visión de servicio.....! Para acabar el 10 de NOV, a las 12:30 PM, antes del check out no hay agua en regaderas..! Cómo te bañas...? La respuesta del Hotel, a la hora de pagar: Hubiera venido a avisarnos para arreglar el problema.. 1.- NO HAY TELÉFONOS EN LAS HABITACIONES... ¿CÓMO TE COMUNICAS EN CASO DE EMERGENCIA O QUE NO HAYA AGUA...? 2. la recepción está a aproximadamente 400mts de la habitación, osea dejas a los niños a medio bañar y vas a la entrada ...? Les hace falta una sensibilización a empleados o colaboradores, o ponerlos en situación de empatía de crisis a ver cómo resuelven esto si les pasara a ellos... NO se si la persona correcta vea este mensaje

The only recommendation is about the WiFi. Not good coverage in the room. (Which at some point is good, because the area is so beautiful that is a waste of time be connected)

The place is fantastic and really close to several natural wonders. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Huasca de Ocampo and particular to those with kids.

We had a very nice time at the Huasca Sierra Verde. We were in town for a wedding and the hotel was a perfect place to stay near it. Also great place to use as a base for visiting the prismas, San Miguel Regla, and downtown Huasca. The rooms were great. The showers were hot. The property is really cool. We really liked all the elf-themed statues. We really wished that we had the opportunity to ride the water slide which looked really very cool. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is located close to the town and the prismas, the hotel counts with zipline, pools, volleyball courts and a forest area where you can bike, the service was perfect the employees are very kind, good experience overall

We arrived at 12am and No one was there at the reception. We couldn’t check in!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was great. Since we visited in November, the room got quite cold at night (no heating), but it wasn't a problem because the blankets were thick. Overall great value for the money, we would definitely stay here again.

Todo estuvo bien,solo faltaria agregar un calefactor por el frio, pero todo mestuvo muy bien: excelentes instalaciones ; muy recomendable, y muy buena atencion

Me pareció un lugar súper bonito y relajante para desconectarse un rato de la rutina y disfrutarlo en pareja

La atención del personal excelente, la atención de meseros increíble, usando guantes de látex y cubrebocas al servir y atender. El lugar es inmenso, hermosas vistas, muchas actividades para disfrutar en el lugar. Los guías del sendero muy elocuentes, las leyendas y la fogata , fantásticas. Definitivamente de 5 estrellas. Volveré
