Had a wonderful stay over the weekend and the room we had overlooked the river which was so relaxing. We also ate in the hotel and the food was very good. The only thing I would say is they allow dogs throughout the hotel including in the restaurant so be aware should you be visiting.

It was odd to enter a hotel and find a child playing computer games on reception. The lovely Italian gentleman soon appeared and checked us in and took us to our room. He was very helpful and welcoming. We went straight down to dinner and were sat at a lovely table by the window overlooking the river. The chairs were completely shot with no seat support at all. I had to get a cushion to sit on but it wasn't much help. The menu was amazing and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately there's no blackout blinds or curtains. When we looked at the curtains they have black mould along the bottom of the lining. There's lights outside that shine up at the hotel however they also shine into the room at the side of the curtains so even during hours of darkness the room isn't dark. Once you get to 5am the room is flooded with light. The mattress has seen better days and offered no support. Our sleep therefore was very poor each of the two nights we stayed. The decor is lovely and it's obvious the owner has a good business, some excellent staff and a fantastic chef, but if you have had a poor night's sleep in a hotel it's difficult to score it very highly as sleep is the point of a hotel. The breakfast was excellent however the breakfast waitress, although clearly extremely capable and efficient, was somewhat brisk. The second morning when waiting to be seated for breakfast we were ignored by the bar staff who went to serve some locals who arrived after us. The new lady was excellent.

My go to hotel in Norwich now for business Food is unbelievable, the staff are so friendly the rooms are real comfy. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

I have stayed here numerous times on business and visits with my wife.rooms all very nice and comfortable.breakfast excellent and restaurant 5star.all staff very helpful and polite.location top drawer with views over the broads. Excellent free parking on adjacent car park.

Everything was really good - excellent

Arrived to a warm welcome and advised room checks were to be completed, so check in was about 2.15. Booked a king size superior. Clean and had all you needed. Drink outside in the sun is always a delight. Had a good nights sleep. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was an excellent choice of cereals, fruit, toast, crumpets, yoghurt and more, along with a great choice of cooked. Have stayed before and always found the staff to be friendly, helpful & polite.

The staff were great even though they were very busy and appear to be short staffed. One comment is that you need to be a genius to open the water bottles in the room !!! Also felt the small breads etc at breakfast were very dry . Otherwise a great stop and so loved the decor.

Another great stay at the Hotel Wroxham!

I loved the balcony in our room. I have difficulty with walking, and a lift would have been a nice touch. However, the difficulties were overcome, and the staff were extremely good at helping and taking heavy luggage to our rooms. Many thanks. The best policy was to talk to the staff, who were delighted to help in many ways, and they were very good. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will use this hotel again. We have no complaints, only our thanks for an extremely enjoyable time

I love staying at Hotel Wroxham. Always a treat - lovely rooms, lovely food and lovely staff. Everyone made such an effort to make Valentines night very special. We love the way dogs are really made welcome - with beds, their own towel, feeding bowls and treat! Even poo bags if you happen to have forgotten them. Really want to come back for Christmas this year!
