The location is great because its near namcheon bridge and there are 2 convenience stores within 5 minutes walk which are indeed convenient since not much place open after 10pm in jeonju hanok village, especially if you are arrived almost midnight like me, hungry and tired and the guesthouse doesnt provide food. But there's kitchen/common area that has microwave, refrigerator, water dispenser and sachet coffee. The room is clean and simple with futon bed, air con, a flat tv and private bathroom. Towel, shampoo, soap and bottled water also are provided. The owner is a nice lady who doesn't speak much english but she seemed kind and eager, she didn't check my booking reference and no deposit asked either. So it felt like I was a guest on someone's house 😅. The most important thing is, especially if you don't speak korean and cant read korean letter like me, finding the place can be very hard because I tell you this, the address that this guesthouse is listed, is actually applied for few others too since the space is literally cramped by hanok guesthouse and they all look kinda the same. So look for the signage that I uploaded which says haengbok ga deuk, I dunno what that means but I happened to know haengbok is korean word for happy. Because there is nothing says happiness full guesthouse so you will not find it if you're looking for the guesthouse based on that name 😅.
