good stay can’t fault the hotel. More Ev chargers would be great

Very dated room and poor quality mattress. Bathroom was modern / nice bath & shower - complete contrast to the bedroom. Indifferent service at the bar in the evening but excellent service at breakfast in the morning. Rooms really need an upgrade !

Property was nice and room ok. Shower was a powerful but temperature kept varying. Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating. Did mention to the member of staff who checked us in but nothing was done about this and Expedia still shows as pets stay free

Lovely grounds and room was very clean. Disappointing that breakfast is served in a dark space with no windows when there appears to be other large rooms with windows overlooking the beautiful grounds.

The whole hotel/spa was lovely and so were the staff

Everything and enjoyed using the leisure facilities. Many memories of the late night venue, Jake's, when I was on my late teens.

Nice hotel The room we were given wasnt the best It was quite dark for the £250 for one night I was expecting more Friendly receptionist

All the staff went the extra mile for my daughter's birthday. They upgraded our room so we had a spacious room for the two of us (mother and daughter) and a plate decorated with 'happy birthday' and truffles on it when we arrived. She also had a beautiful 'happy birthday' treat for pudding that evening and also on the Saturday morning - the day of her actual birthday, so she felt very special.

The accommodation was clean and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner service was good. Seating area in the bar was limited but patio heaters were provided for outside seating.

Lovely stay, would highly recommend and would certainly stay again. A super "English" expereince.
