La propiedad muy descuidada

The room was basic. Beds were clean and had two towels for a group of five. We were able to ask for more towels at the lobby without an issue. The towels looked a little worn but not a huge deal. We had an AC unit which worked great. The room has a tv a closet with a few hangers and shelves. The bathroom had a couple rolls of toilet paper, lotion, shampoo and a bar of soap. No fridge, my siggestion would be to go to Oxxo and buy a foam cooler to keep drinks. The elevator didnt work during my stay. The pool is pretty deep 5ft to about 7ft deep.

Wifi didn't work in the room. There were tiny insects flying about in the room. There was loud music from a nightclub close by until 10 or 11 at night. No one spoke English. Management was not helpful, maid servicde was slow and late. There was only a hard folding chair, nothing comfortable to sit in.

Yes everything is close by good place to stay if you want to go around the city or take transportation to get some where else.

Shops nearby, public transportation and turist package to visit a lot places to get food.

Yes. All building has No electricity according they said almost over for 2 weeks. And they transfered us to other hotel from 11th - 14th of february. That is why we cancelled the date from the 14th - 18th accordingly.

Localizado en un lugar privilegiado. Una pena que el hotel este en tan malas condiciones de mantenimiento. Necesita una reparación capital y mucha inversion. Una pena que este hotel localizado en el centro de la ciudad este en tan pesimas condiciones. Espero tomen mi comentario de buena onda y hagan la inversión necesaria que necista el hotel y lo mejoren. Gracias

Buen servio al cliente

El lobby del hotel y las áreas verdes incluyendo la alberca están excelentes. Me gustó mucho su atenticidad de hotel. Sin embargo en cuestión de más habitaciones crecen de buen mantenimiento, hay oportunidad en lo escusados, lo minisplit están algo viejos y a mi gusto, la habitación no está muy confortable. Pero esta bien para llegar y dormir.

I loved that the hotel was over 100 years old. The location couldn’t have been better for walk ability in the historical center of Merida.

This property is very charming and the staff where great especially Ricardo! What I did not like about this property is the safety of the room. The one lock on the inside was a rusty old chain that was screwed into the wood trim of the wall. I could have ripped it off myself. I saw the neighboring room and the lock was the same. I think Kavia hotels should step it up a notch or two in that regard! This hotel was also very noisy. I think all inner courtyard hotels in the area are noisy as any noise echoes through the halls. It adds to the charm but bring ear plugs or expect a number of wake ups.

Buen lugar, hotel viejo

Rooms were spacious. Water pressure in bathroom was low. Staff was friendly, some spoke English, with others used translation apps. Location was convenient too.

The property is in great location. The rooms are super clean and the housekeeping people are very friendly. The rooms has a light saver on top of the door. Light from the aisle don’t let you sleep.
