Beautiful property with a wonderful breakfast.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an absolutely amazing stay. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean maintained daily be the staff. The pool was beautiful and my son loved playing in there. The playground has a play house, trampoline, seesaw, etc, and is right next to a beautiful garden to relax in whole the little guy played. The food was delicious and they had English menus for us to use. Breakfast was excellent. No shortage of choices and able to accommodate any taste buds. I will stay here again in a heartbeat if I come back to the region.

This place was a delightful find. The scenery around the property is beautiful. The hotel was cozy and very clean.

Love the location of the property. Ettal is a lovely German town. The hotel was charming and the staff was really nice! We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Rooms are confortable and big enough for families. Furnitures are new. Breakfast is excelent.

Breakfast buffet did not provide sufficient variety, especially fruits and vegetables. Restaurant had goof service but dinner was served mildly warm. Staff was friendly but not fluent in German or English. Rooms were good but cold due to the heaters being covered. Wellness was not offered at the scale for the size of the hotel. All in all, not recommended

Had an interesting experience in the hotel restaurant. My soup was forgotten, but still appeared on the bill. After dessert, I pointed this out. They brought the soup instead of removing from bill. Have never had to eat soup after dessert before. Know there was a language barrier but service at the restaurant for dinner had many mistakes, not just at our table. Have never experienced this in any restaurant ever in being served soup after dessert and having to eat it. Dinner food was also the most mediocre food I had in my whole Bavaria trip. However breakfast was good! The food at breakfast was delicious and tasty. The room we stayed in was big, but a bit old and could do with an update. The bed was comfortable. The air quality in room was poor but fixed by opening the windows for a bit. The bathroom was big and lovely with a huge bath and hot water. Not a perfect stay but Ok. Just some things to improve on next time.

Amazing stay in beautiful area to hike, bike or see sights. Across the street from Abbey and convenient to other Bavarian sites.

Wonderful monastery hotel, beautifully nestled in the Bavarian Alps. The front desk staff were super welcoming—kind, caring, and helpful. Our room was clean, cozy, and quiet. If you're looking for a hotel with charm, character, and intimacy, I highly recommend!

Large hotel, we got spacious rooms. The hotel is a bit old but beautiful. Big free parking available. Breakfast is a standard European style. Room cleanliness is decent, and towels are replaced properly. The bar in the lobby is very small and I didn’t really like it. In one of the rooms, there was a clogged shower that caused flooding, and it was only fixed the next day, which was quite unpleasant.

We had a great stay. Everyone was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was delicious.

Will book again, but longer

Hotel is in excellent condition. Nicely located across from the benedictine monastery of Ettal in a quiet little village.

Great classic hotel.

We totally lucked in with finding the Klosterhotel. The hotel is traditional and beautiful in every way, and very reasonably priced for the location. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent. The kloster complex across the street was a special treat. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for a longer stay.

Delightful charming hotel with very sweet staff. We had a room for three people and it was very spacious and had all the amenities. Nice robe and bath towel for the pool and spa. The hotel is in fantastic condition so I’m wondering if it was nearly updated. The breakfast in the morning was very good and included. The grounds are wonderful and it’s close to nice little shops.

Very clean Hotel with very friendly staff. Also the restaurant is recommendable. Easy parking behind the hotel with a number of EV chargers.
