This was a great location for us as we were on Kangaroo Island for 5 days exploring the Island. It was close to our Friends that live in Kingscote so we could have catch ups at their place & the Villas. The area was nice & quiet & having a balcony with great views was awesome to sit out & have a rest & a drink after lots of adventures. Will definitely recommend to Family, Friends & we’ll be back again ourselves to stay.

The lack of landscaping and the surrounds lets this down, if it was wet the back would be muddy as there are no paths to clothes line , not even gravel.hardly any plants around the house gives an impression of wasteland. The view of the sea is very nice, but the front of the villas is mostly high fences and an area waiting to be developed, overall, its not very scenic. the drive is very rutted , needs grading. The dvd player did not work at all. No carving knife to cut bread and very small stone chopping block. Internet is very good, worked flawlessy. its a hot location , we were there when it was 31c the cathedral ceiling means little insulation , it needs RC in all rooms, as the fans are inadequate, needs ceiling fans, not pedestals. Beds are quite comfy , some taps are losing their coating of chrome and the back sink stank and took ages to drain. Elderly people need to be aware that the stairs are steep and you cannot put the light on under the carport from upstairs. A friend fell over in the dark when leaving at night as they went out the back door due to the steep front steps. Overall ok, but would not stay again given location is disappointing and the kitchen items are bare minimum.

Great place, well equipped, good kitchen size, good bathrooms including ensuite off main. Close to centre of Kingscote whilst still being quiet and having great elevated views. The only criticism would be the hardness of the beds which was the case in all rooms.

The villa does have bay view in the day time. So makes one feel very Comfortable. It is located at the outskirt of the town centre. There is s very good seafood place next to the caltex station. Only thing that is a nuisance is that the street number on Reeves st. Is all messed up. The Villa entrance is situated at the front of Reeves st. instead of the end of Reeves st. Took us a long time to find the entrance especially after dark,

We felt at home in a house as clean, comfortable and well fitted out as our home, but also with a great outlook over Kingscote on the balcony to enjoy being there.

We felt at home in this large home. There was only 2 of us traveling but the home had 3 bedrooms so it is a good home for families with the added bonus of 2 bathrooms and a laundry. ( no dryer). The view of the water was a bit misleading. The house is quite far from the ocean. There is also quite a steep flight of stairs to get into the front door. But once inside, it was a comfortable nights stay.

Great to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The stairs were a little bit of a problem, particularly arriving when it was dark.

The Kitchenware and utensils are quite complete. If you like the make food, that would be a good choice to you. If you don't cook, there are some food shop nearby.

Loved our stay at Bayview Villas! 3 bedrooms was way more than we needed (for two of us) but loved having the kitchen, living room and deck! Laundry also handy for a longer stay. Kitchen had all supplies such as crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware, etc. Even had foil, cling wrap, baking paper! Couldn’t find a chopping board although I’m sure there was one there (we had our own so I didn’t look too hard). Everything we needed was provided - iron, coat hangers, toiletries, detergent, etc. Lovely views over the town and bay. A short drive into the centre of town. Nice to be away from the Main Street - very peaceful and scenic. Would definitely recommend Bayview Villas to my friends and family!
