This was our first hotel we stopped at after a long day of traveling to the country. The hotel is gorgeous and the whole place feels relaxing, quiet and peaceful. From our large and well decorated room we loved watching the bird life and even spotted a family of hippos. The food was delicious and it was lovely to sit out on the water during the day and inside the property in the evening (we visited in August). We hired a car and there is so much to explore from the local area. We would have stopped another couple of days if we could.

It was very nice, except for the breakfast bill of R175. I have ordered 1 slice of toast, 1 egg and a small cheese griller. I could not believe it...

Beautiful and peaceful setting, lovely garden and view. Staff are friendly, very accommodating and helpful. You can dine indoors or outdoors right on the lake's edge. Food was good and the dinner menu had nice choices and was quite tasty. Perfect get away for couples and close to numerous tourist attractions in Sabie, Graskop, Hazyview and game drives at the Kruger National Park.

Although we only stayed for one night. We had a great time. The pool is well kept. The room was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and super helpful.

Absolutely stunning setting and scenery. Could’ve sat on the deck and watched the bird life all day. Good service from all staff and dinner was delicious! Would definitely come back if I’m in South Africa again

We absolutely loved the Bambuu Lakeside Lodge! We stayed here three nights when we visited Kruger. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and cozy! Our room was right on the lake, making our stay very peaceful with stunning views. Dinner was delicious and there were always great food and drink options. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Moses who was awesome!

Great lakeside location. Rooms are very nice and roomy.Convenient to Hazyview and Kruger Gates. Owner is very helpful

Amazing venue and a great guest house. The staff are amazing and very helpful and friendly. I do expect a clean pool when I am on holiday thoughand the fact that I could not due to the dirty water and algae was disappointing. Could not swim and have a cocktail and enjoy the view. The other comfort issue that I had was the bed was poor quality. I woke up every morning with a sore back. Pillows also poor quality. Overall a good stay but it could have been great.
