Everything was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic! No complaints and will stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alva Valley. Great atmosphere, breakfast & amazing customer service with very nice rooms. So nice to escape from the crowds in Porto. We stayed here after our drive through Douro Valley. Highly recommend coming here to unwind.

Kingsize bed is actually to singles toghether The sheets don't fit the bed so as soon as you open the bed, it will all come out Front desk won't be in his station, if you areive without mobile data like i did, be ready to look for here around the hotel Breakfast is average

Beautiful area of Portugal. Very nice Hotel the staff was very friendly. My concern was that when I booked they offered a cocktail upon checking in, I hinted many times to the manager and staff? We never got any response. The listing is very misleading we were to be booked to a hotel 2 hours away.

Restaurante caríssimo.... apenas pedi leite para a minha filha e........nada! Ela tem cerca de 2 anos um hotel assim não faz sentido. Sai do hotel não me devolveram o dinheiro da noite. Portanto se tem filhos não vão para lá porque os vossos filhos não velem nada, apenas pagar a noite para quem gere faz sentido. Muito mau para ser verdade uma verdadeira porcaria de hotel!

We had a pleasant stay at Alva Valley Hotel. We decided to book this hotel as we wanted to have a place to stay in during a music festival that we would attend on the weekend. Additionally, this hotel had been recommended to us by the organization of the music festival. The hotel is relatively new, the room is gracious and very neat. The location is fine and not far from the music festival that we were going to. The breakfast offered by the hotel is marvelous featuring the typical Portuguese breads, especially the delicious and unique " Pastel de Belém" (Portuguese egg tart pastry). However, the best of this hotel is the staff. They are so courteous, friendly and helpful. Our flight from London to Lisbon got delayed and we had to drive almost 2 and half hours from Lisbon to the hotel. When we got there we were hungry, and as the hotel is located in a small town, there were no restaurants opened at that time. We mentioned that to Mafalda who is the front desk clerk, and she personally took care to help us to order something to eat with the hotel's bar. Ines and Andre who work in the bar were also really attentive and helpful. These three guys made us feel like we were home. Special thanks to them for being so professional and pleasant with the hotel's guests.

The staff were amazing, especially on reception so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious however there needs to be a great improvement in bar food. My room was immaculate and the lady who cleaned my room even folded my clothes that I had washed and left to dry, 'on the retractable line that was installed above the bath'. Amazing service! The only problem that I had was that my mattress was too hard, but you can't have everything :-). This should be a 4 star hotel.

Hotel excelente num local muito agradável e tranquilo. as instalações são ótimas e o pessoal muito solicito e gentil. Embora o restaurante do hotel não funcionar no dia da minha hospedagem há algumas opções de restaurantes próximos mas não muitas. O pequeno almoço estava ótimo e muito bem servido com frutas e omeletes saborosos ! Fiquei arrependido de me hospedado por apenas 1 noite. O Hotel e a região merece no mínimo 2 diárias.

Estas en medio de la naturaleza, la gente que atiende es espectacular pero se escucha el ruido de los baños de los demas dormitorios, pero el resto la atencion 10/10

A estadia no hotel foi perfeita! O atendimento muito solícito e educado, por parte de todos! Gostamos muito a da estrutura do hotel. O quarto que pegamos tinha uma varanda enorme, Incrível. O único ponto não tão bom foi a cama que não era de casal e não tinha como juntar. Sugiro que o hotel invista numa solução (como uma roupa de cama que una as duas camas).

Um hotel muito bem localizado, moderno, com excelente pequeno almoço. Muito superior a outros que ostentam 4 estrelas. Superou largamente as nossas expectativas iniciais.
